This entire movie is just endless cliche after cliche.
Every beat is something we seen before.
Every beat in an order we heard before.
It tries really hard to have some sort of redemption arc but it all falls flat.
Everyone is corrupt and none of them are held accountable. We are treated to a vast conspiracy. With conspirators that are so morally bankrupt they will turn a blind eye to e child abuse.
And at no point is it clear why the vast majority of these people are participating. We're just supposed to accept it as if this takes place in some fantasy world where people are terrible by default.
Unless you're watching this to follow some particular person's career arc, there is no reason not to skip this one.

So much layer, so much depth. These characters feel real. It is the unfortunate viewer who cannot connect.
The plot unfolds in unconventional layers, which perhaps some might label as quirky, but that word feels overly heavy.
Most of the characters are quite basic, people we've seen many times before. There's a composer with creative block who struggles predictably after each success, a marriage that's on autopilot with people who could almost be mistaken for roommates, two young adults in love who fear they will grow apart, and an impoverished mother who's constantly worried her child will repeat her mistakes.
The only character who is clearly quirky is the wife. There's a therapist whose neurotic behavior simmers in the background, unmistakable but never called, maddening the curious viewer as to what it means. Clearly, her journey could be its own film, but not here. Here is reveals itself as the penultimate moment.
Like compost turned to reveal nutrient-rich fertilizer. It combines the sum of its bland ingredients and adds time to create something deeply rich in emotion. From it, fruits a tree of true love and romance, where each instance branches naturally from the other.
I pity the viewer who can't appreciate the beauty that unfolds.

I've watched quite a few Netflix moves and they all tend to have terrible pacing. This one is a bit long but it didn't overall feel long. I think part of this is the excellent cast ensemble. There are quite a few good actors here.
This is ultimately a meta movie, a movie about the making of the movie but not really. It adds layers of zaniness which is good because there it also covers scenes where people are making the movie about the making.
It definitely has some humor about the industry including many gags about how whinny spoiled movie stars can be about being quarantined while being pampered.
Quite enjoyable if that is your sort of thing.
