I have been dissing indian cinema for a long time, ever since they DESTROYED my favourite movie Reservoir Dogs, but this was a very pleasant surprise, the editing i have to comment on, which i wasn't aware that the indian industry knew exsisted. if used correctly it gives a whole new feel to the movie, although i wont go as far as to say it did dat, but atleast they tried. use of sound through out the movie was impressive for indian standards, not saying that we dont know how to use sound,we just dont bother,Saif never had ne trouble acting in the past, so no difference here he shines throughout the movie, the ending was the bit that surprised me the most, it was VERY dark for indian audience, and its good to see that we have stopped being so squmish. 7/10 definatly recomended.
Yet again we have a bad copy on our hands. u would think that after the HUGH flop of Kantee will teach bollywood that bad copies just dont work! but this time the credit is that they have stolen from a german movie Run Lola Run, the similarities are obvious but a bit dumbed down in lemans terms. not5 worth ur time if u have seen the original might like it if u haven't but, compared to the fast paced story of Lola rennt its really boring, and i cant BELIVE Rahul Bose agreed to do this movie, he can do a hell lot better.
This movie is based of an Agatha Christie novel, which for its time must have been very original and spellbinding, but in this time and age, making a movie based on those stories is an insult to the audience. 10 minutes into the movie its easy to guess who is the victim as well as who is the killer. The acting on the other hand is great, which is what i would expect anyway, since this movie is packed with bollywood superstars like Nandita Das and Sharmila Tagor.
