This show will offend and disgust you, you've got to really have a sick sense of humor to love it as much as I do. This series deserves a 10/10, and the four extraordinary actors do a brilliant job on the show. Every scene is a work of comic genius. Though this show is definitely not for everyone, its one of the best things that's ever aired on TV.
This show is in my veiw one of the only decent shows that disney ever came up with. It's interesting and you'll love it. I was unhappy when they got reid of Fiona, and even though no one could ever compare to Fiona Alezx Johnson is good. She adds something new to the story and its still interesting. Even if I would have preferred they didn't get rid of Fi the third season is still worth watching.
Some people hated it, some people liked it...I'm not sure. The script makes you laugh, and they obviously weren't interested in checking up and historical facts ("Look, it's the British cavalry!"....hello? There was no 'British cavalry', they would have referred to it as whatever outfit they were, like the fifth company. For example, if the US was fighting and they were relevied by another company would they shout "Look! There are US soldiers!" I don't think so.)
But maybe I'm being harsh, this is just a movie. Whoever made it was OBVIOUSLY not trying to teach anyone anything at all, they just wanted to make a action film you could watch and enjoy, and in all fairness it was very easy to enjoy. Heath Ledger was very good, and I'm not going to complain about the accents, even though I could easily insult that area. Have you ever tried to speak in a different accent? It's hard! But although sometimes the actors were obviously American does that really have to do with the movie itself? What did you expect the director to do? Say "You cannot be in the movie because you're not British"?
If I had to rate this movie I would really find it hard to...I mean should you give the movie a bad rating because it messed up a lot of facts? Or just judge the acting and give it a high score. Then again the script is important to a movie and the script really sucked.
See it, you might think it's worth it, or you might not, and decide for yourself.
