I'm much more down for new Tribble episodes than new Mirror Universe episodes, so I really didn't enjoy the opening scene.

Every Mirror Universe episode has a character from that show as the most evil character ever. With displays of their cruelty.

So we get to see the cruelty of Philippa Georgiou.

Then we're introduced to the team in a very annoying way as they all say their names and explain how they will annoy you.

Which helps with the murder mystery who-dun-it that follows as one of them kills the annoying characters one by one.

The characters we are left with are decent and the climatic struggle is fine.

The end sets up/promises a sequel we're never going to get, and looks like more fun than this one.

The ending also features a surprising cameo from an actress new to this franchise, but who was in another goofy sci-fi movie recently.

Section 31 is not the worst Star Trek movie.

I'm definitely watching this again and buying it on VOD, when it goes on sale.

I absolutely LOVED the new Laid (2024) on Peacock. Followed it up with the movie Joy Ride (2023). Both were so much fun.

So a week later I decided to watch the original Australian version of Laid on Tubi/FreeVee.

Season 1 is hilarious. The Peacock version borrowed many of the same scenes, similar characters. But there's definitely a departure point.

Season 2 focuses on one story point and gets tunnel vision on following it, to the detriment of pretty ,uch everything.

It's Roo vs Marcus. And it feels like a 1 episode story, but then goes on and on, and gets weirder and weirder.

There's only 6 episodes per season, so there's no reason top not watch the second season. It's still fun, just almost a different show than the first.

Nothing is really explained. But it does have an ending.

The actors look really familiar to me, and I apparently haven't seen their other works. I think I might have downloaded the show and watched it when it was new, and have since forgotten about it.

I saw The Marvels at my local Regal theater.

On a scale of One to Five Stars I give THE MARVELS 1000 Stars!!!

I was constantly cheering and excitedly stomping my legs during this movie.

My heart grew 1000 sizes while watching this.

I love these characters and I loved them together.

Ms. Marvel is absolutely the heart of the film, but Monica Rambeau and Carol Danvers were also great. I spent the whole movie wishing we had lots more of both of these characters in the MCU.

The Kahn family were also great. Funny for sure, but also supportive. And helpful. And Goose the cat was also a delight.

And all of the future teases...

This was all of the fun and more.

I probably have to see this again tomorrow after work!
