I can only assume that the Danzigers were trying to exploit the success of the TV show The Army Game. Howevet this film was made in 1959 at the Danzigers Gate Studios in Wembley, but it was not finally shown till 1962 by which time The Army Game had finished and National Service was coming to end..
This film labours under an extremely unfunny script.
I know that when I watch any film produced by the British Film Institute that I am going to have a problem viewing till the end, and so it proved in this case.when a film is as dull and boring as this it is impossible to keep your concentration so that rapidly you loose the plot. Also that low rumbling noise on the soundtrack becomes an infernal nuisance.
