This was a great movie. The people who are giving low ratings, and hating on this movie missed the whole concept. A story had to be told to make the movie cohesive with what was coming.
People were impatient wanting immediate action instead of following the beginning storyline, and were expecting a repeat of the prior sequels.
There's plenty of action if you're patient. Understand that a great deal of time has passed and we watch the vulnerability and confusion Neo is dealing with; a need to understand he's coming to grips with an environment foreign to his current understanding of reality, memories and prior supper abilities.
Be patient.. enjoy the movie and pay attention to the smaller details.

I loved this movie. I appreciated the slow pace because it brought a haunting sense of beauty to both characters intricately woven relationship as mother and daughter.
The tender relationship and awe the daughter has for her mother is seen in her eternal devotion through small things she does to try and elicit happiness for her mum.
She is trying to deepen an understanding and connection with her mother, but frustratingly feels she's missing something important, or that maybe time is not on her side as she thought.
To watch this movie you have to watch it from within one's view as being that daughter, not as a spectator watching a movie hoping for jumps and scares, that is not what the movie is about. What will we do when we lose the one person who can paint a picture of their past loves, experiences, and losses because we never asked.

I selected this movie as I love Sean Patrick Flannery. I hated this movie within the first 5 minutes. This movie is very cheesy, bad acting all around, and the voice utilized by the actor portraying the disabled brother is so overly acted and down right annoying; the more he talked the more his voice grated on my nerves, and his portrayal was completely distracting.
There was nothing that was scary or frightening about this movie, except the atrocious acting.
I made it 30 minutes, and I finally had to turn it off. Save yourself and skip this movie, unless you simply want to watch it so you can leave a bad review.
