This was the Superman movie I had hoped James Gunn would make. This movie depicted, the hopeful iconic Superman that inspires all other superheroes. It shows even in the world of DC comics how people are being led by disinformation, fear, and hatred. Just like in our world. But Superman has always shows us the way forward, Superman shows us that even when it's harder, it's the way to go to be hopeful. This movie is a living comic book but never treats the source material with disrespect or disdain, it's a labor of love. It's like being dropped into a DC comic limited series, w all the things brought to life you never thought you'd see. The acting is as great as the story, Corenswet IS the man of steel.

This is what I waited for and expected all along. Snyder delivers a modern day mythological epic retelling of the age of heroes. If I were a film maker I'd be wary of working with WB, we've seen what they did to two parts of Snyder's trilogy with the theatrical releases, as his director's cuts are vastly superior.

Good show, well acted, and directed. No freakin idea what's going on. Every new episode answers nothing but brings more questions, still it's compelling enough to keep me comin back.
