I was a kid back in the 1970s and watched the Archie cartoons like the US of Archie and Archie's funnies that were so lighthearted (not to mention their musical numbers like Sugar). BOY OH BOY, for those of us who grew up with that nothing could have prepared us for 2017's version of Riverdale. It hit like a karate chop, a combination of Beverly Hills 90210 and Twin Peaks.
