I'm honestly surprised by all the negative reviews for this film. I went in with low expectations based on the ratings I saw, but ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. It definitely reminded me of the Scary Movie franchise, with that same over-the-top, self-aware style of humor. If you're a fan of movies that don't take themselves too seriously and play around with genre tropes, this one is worth checking out at least once.
The comedy was silly, sure, but it had its moments-some genuinely funny scenes that made me laugh out loud. It blends slapstick, wordplay, and a kind of tongue-in-cheek tone that fans of Indian comedy (especially the Housefull series) will likely recognize and appreciate. The movie also does a decent job of mixing in some mystery, which kept things interesting until the end. It wasn't a mind-blowing twist or anything, but it held my attention, and that's more than I can say for many films in this genre lately.
One of the things I enjoyed was seeing some familiar faces from the Housefull franchise. While not all the usual cast members were there, it still had that same energy, which felt nostalgic in a way. The performances were over-the-top, but that's clearly what the film was going for. It's not meant to be taken seriously, and if you go in expecting a fun, chaotic ride, you won't be disappointed.
The soundtrack was also surprisingly catchy. I found myself humming a couple of the songs afterward and was a bit surprised they didn't become more popular. Maybe the movie's overall reception affected how much the music caught on, but there are definitely a few tracks that deserved more attention. The dance numbers were colorful and lively, adding to the overall entertaining vibe of the film.
Is it a masterpiece? Of course not. But not every movie has to be. This is the kind of film that's made for a casual watch with friends or family-light, goofy entertainment that doesn't demand too much from the viewer. I'd personally rate it a solid 6.5 or 7, but I'm giving it a 10 here to help balance out what I think are unfairly low ratings. The flood of 1-star and 2-star reviews doesn't reflect what the movie is trying to be. It's not aiming for deep storytelling or high-brow cinema-it's just trying to make you laugh and have a good time.
Overall, it's a one-time watch that delivers what it promises. If you go in with the right expectations and a sense of humor, you'll probably enjoy it more than the average review would lead you to believe.

Very good movie and build up, honestly there is no way you can expect what happens at the end! Good acting and I feel for Indian cinema these types of movies need to come out a lot more, it can challenge the way you think in certain scenes and leaves you in shock especially at the end. Since Anurag Kashyap has been acting I think he has been doing a good job, we know Vijay Sethupathy does a good job in general but I think the director thought of all the angles and did not miss anything really. Great thing is that there are no unnecessary songs that can really disturb the flow of the movie, great movie for sure!
This movie had a great start and actually has you engaged up until the intermission. After that point it just seems like either the director changed or was totally confused and lost. The last 20-30 minutes were not needed and a waste of time. The message was clear and had good meaning but executed badly after the intermission.
Acting is decent by Sharavari and okay by the villain. John was good as he did justice to the role and action sequences. Too many songs, although I liked the Holi one, they were not needed. If the movie continued into with the 2nd half as it did in the first I would've given this a 9 star.
