I'm completely obsessed with Epic: The Musical since I first watched it.
I can't stop thinking about it, listening to it, or watching it whenever I can.
It's monumental, deeply moving, and shattering.
Not only does it have a ton of phenomenal songs from a musical perspective, but also from a storytelling perspective.
Every voice fits perfectly with each character and their personality, and all of the performers are outstanding singers with incredible range.
The writing is stellar too.
It's such a tragic story, with glimpses of hope that are repeatedly crushed, until the only way to survive and make it home is to become someone else, a monster, because ruthlessness is mercy upon ourself.
Each saga has very strong and distinct themes.
It begins with The Troy Saga, which is about making difficult moral decisions and compromises and being open to the world.
In The Cyclops Saga and The Ocean Saga, the themes explore mercy, recklessness, hubris, trust, defeat, and whether the ends justify the means.
The Circe Saga focuses on temptation and loyalty, while The Underworld Saga confronts the past, loss, grief, guilt, prophecy, and the danger of succumbing to one's dark side, becoming the very thing one has been fighting against.
The Thunder Saga revisits temptation but emphasizes persistence and, above all, survival at any cost.
The Wisdom Saga brings a change in perspective. It is more hopeful, yet still highlights struggle.
Finally, The Vengeance Saga and The Ithaca Saga deal with vengeance, hatred, justice, and reckoning, culminating in a homecoming as a changed man who must live with the consequences of his past actions.
At the heart of all this is a man, or perhaps a monster, which is why this is, above all, a human story.

Nana is a series, where you get to really know each and every character with their flaws and strengths. If it's love or hate, you really understand them because they are so well fleshed out.
It makes them feel so real that every interaction between them hits you hard, if it's in a happy, funny or sad way, often it's devastating.
All that is only possible with the brilliant character writing from Ai Yazawa.
The songs are phenomenal and how they integrated them in the openings/endings is wonderful.
I can only hope that the story will continue and find its conclusion someday.
One of my all time favorites.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars was the series that I grew up with and that made me fall in love with Star Wars and Ahsoka. With Rebels, Dave Filoni could continue his work with another incredible show.
Since Ahsoka is my favorite character of all time, I was both nervous and confident in Dave Filoni's ability to maintain the same level of quality in her show.
In the end, it's more like a season 5 of Rebels, which, as a Rebels fan, I really appreciate.
After Boba Fett and Kenobi, this feels like Star Wars again. The different planets and species, the lore, mysterious and interesting characters/places/story, beautiful visuals, exhilarating action and emotional/impactful moments.
One standout aspect is Baylan Skoll, shrouded by mystery and experience, he's already one of the best characters in Star Wars, also because of Ray Stevensons's perfect portrayal (may he rest in peace).
Thrawn's return in Star Wars is sensational. Just like in Rebels, he's calm, intimidating and always several steps ahead.
Ahsoka is as exceptional as ever, grappling with her past decisions, she confronts them and learns to accept her regrets.
All other characters were great too, while some have minor flaws, they're overshadowed by their developement and actions.
To see the reunion of the ghost crew onscreen is just wonderful.
Ahsoka is a fantastic and compelling show with a few imperfections but a lot of greatness.
