Well, like the loud and rowdy midnight crowd I was anxious for the movie. We sat down through exactly, well around 22 minutes of commercials and previews, and then finally the movie started. It started off awesome! Bats making the sign. Couldn't ask for more. But after not that many years ago having seen so many Batman movies, I felt there was no need to make this whole new very very long introduction of who Batman is... and how this Batman thinks he's a "Ninja" Which was kind of a lame idea. And seeing how everything was so simple... the batcave was a lame looking basement. Alfred didn't know how to put anything together so he kept placing orders for Batsuit stuff. LAME Bat Car. I really don't know what they were thinking off with this movie. I actually felt embarrassed in a sort of way like, awe man you're making a fool of yourself when he said "I'm Batman" I was thinking, wow this is Batman movie, I had forgotten that... and I was thinking it was just some lame movie. I really wanted to like it... But it really wasn't good at all. Needed a good villain. The only really awesome part in the movie, I think was the part where Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow saw Batman as this huge scary looking thing. Ahh, Christian Bale just looked bad at Batman. His cheeks were too fat looking and they were popping out of the suit. And what was up with him having to make that really funny voice for it? If people end up liking this movie, I will not have one clue why.
I like how this movie tried really hard to be true. It gave you details of the story, of the past and of what is really going on. You don't really entirely know what happens till the end of it. I didn't like too much when they used live action things. I like for things to either be an anime, or live action. When i saw it i felt like i was drawn into it, but then all this live action stuff came into place and i was kind of thrown off a bit and couldn't enjoy it too too much, but that's OK i still really liked it. It was interesting to see how the story came into play. It might even be considered a bit contriversial, but i think that's a good thing. It works as an anime and stands alone all on it's own. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes science fiction or whoever wants a good story. I am glad though that it was a short series, this could've even been shorter.
I saw this movie with my girlfriend. I don't think we stopped laughing at it for a bit. I think this is one of the funniest movies ever. Everything from it made me feel happy. This has about the most well defined characters you'll ever see on film that are true to how they really are. I enjoyed this film so much. The girl was really cute, and she was mean and she was sweet. The guy wanted a girl and all he ever really found was this girl who was actually a guy. Then the movie got really sad. I couldn't believe why the girl was so sad, but that part made me cry. It ended up being a quest on trying to find out what true love is. Letting go is a really hard thing, but letting go of something else you've found when you find out how dear that really is to you can mean the entire world in the end. I love this movie... :)
