Season 1 was near perfection. The plot was fresh, shockingly good and hit the emotional tone just right. Often times it felt too realistic and the acting was on point as well. And the games were well executed. They should have ended the series there. Rating: 9/10.

Season 2 only exists because season 1 was a massive hit and Netflix wanted more. The plot this time around was weaker than before. The shock value has gone and the emotional notes did not quite hit the same. Some new characters were genuinely good. Overall a good season nevertheless. Rating: 8/10.

Season 3 was basically season 2 second part. They just stretched a weaker story so much it loses the charm. One sub-plot (detective island hunt) felt exciting in the beginning but went nowhere. The other sub-plot (rogue soldier) was unnecessary and I did not like it. The drama within the players was not as exciting as season 1. And was predictable at times. Once again, brilliant acting carried the series, except the VIPs. They were hilariously bad. The new games and voting system did not have the same weight as before. Tho, these did add some drama. Finally, regarding the ending, I have mixed feeling about it. Rating: 7/10.

There is a lot of hype around this show. Does it live up to the expectation? Let's find out,

Plot: There is no real story here. The plot revolves around a ton of money (!) and a struggling actress, that everybody wants. But ultimately nobody gets anywhere. The plot holes are bigger than the amount of money shown here. Which is funny because they keep saying the amount differently from time to time. There are many more inconsistencies, this is just the most obvious one that should have been addressed.

Genre: They marked this as an Action / Comedy / Thriller. But, the story is so bad that it fails at everything. There is no thrill. Plus, the jokes are not funny and felt like they are trying too hard. For example, in one scene, the actors mention the actual director of this show. They say how good he is and they should hire him etc. There is nothing wrong with that. But the execution is just cringe ngl. The only thing I found funny in this show was the action sequences. Those are laughably bad.

Acting: There are many talented faces here. But the show is full of over acting. Only a few were good. My guess is they couldn't do much with such a horribly written script. Another thing I should mention is that there are just way too many slangs. Almost all characters keep swearing the entire show for no reason.

Ending: To be honest, the twist at the end makes the show worse. It makes everybody look stupid. The show would have been better off without it. It undid the whole story.

Some may find this review harsh. But I had high hopes for the director, Raihan Rafi. I did not expect such a poor show from him. This is probably his worst work so far.

Verdict: Not worth watching.
