This has been far my most anticipated film of the year by a long shot and I'm so happy to have seen this film and say that it was truly an incredible and fantastic time watching this on the big screen. This movie was absolutely incredible with some of the very strong messages portrayed through the movie and this film tackles some really hard subjects and is able to convey them amazingly in the movie as well with really good writing and a great overall story as well. I found myself to absolutely Geek out at certain points in the film with this incredible score and the amazing shots of Superman throughout the movie as well as they portray some amazing shots with him flying throughout the movie. David Corenswet was truly an amazing Superman and had himself such an amazing performance in this movie as well and I found the scenes with Superman and Lois Lane to be my favorite parts of the movie by a long shot and I found Rachel Brosnahan to deliver a great performance as well playing Lois and I just wish her and Superman had more screen time together in this movie as well. I think the movie delivers some incredible storytelling throughout the movie as well and I think this movie does an excellent job at portraying Superman and showing us the person and who he is and how incredible the movie does at portraying him. The action and fight scenes were also really great and I found the scenes to be really incredible to watch and also one little complaint that I have with this is some scenes look so choppy and the CGI sometimes would throw me off especially with this fight scene towards the end of the movie as it looked a little bad at some points throughout the movie. This movie also does have so many characters that it's hard to balance everyone out at certain times in the movie and some characters just get thrown to the side and we just kind of ditch some characters which I didn't like and I wish they didn't have so many characters also Mister Terrific stole the show when he was on the screen and was easily one of my favorite characters in the movie as well. Lex Luthor was also incredible in this movie as well and Nicholas Hoult delivered an amazing performance as well and Lex is just a straight up hater which I think was hilarious for this movie as he was such an amazing villain. Overall this movie is still a fantastic time and I don't get all this insane hate for this film as even if you don't like some of the stuff it's still a solid but I personally absolutely loved this film and found myself to have an amazing time with this movie and highly recommend it and to watch it on the biggest screen possible.
I've decided to attend yet another mystery movie Monday and this day we had Oh, Hi and I didn't really know too much going into the film as I've briefly heard of it and saw the trailer and didn't know what to expect. But I think the film delivers a hilarious movie with some excellent comedy throughout the movie as I found myself to truly be dying at some of the jokes thrown in this movie as they really did land for me and I found myself to have a great time with this film and the comedy elements thrown into this film. I found the romantic parts to be intriguing as well and found our leads to be such interesting characters and I really loved these characters of Iris played by Molly Gordon and also Isaac played by Logan Lerman who personally was my favorite character in this film and I really loved his performance. My one complaint with the characters is I wish they had more depth to them and sometimes in my personal opinion in some scenes they feel bland and boring but other than that I really do like these characters a lot. I also really liked the story they told in this film as I honestly expected to go into a Rom-Com but I was kind of surprised by the direction they take the romantic elements in this movie as I really found this direction to be really interesting for me and I really liked the direction they took as it didn't feel like every other boring rom-com with nothing going on in this film but I found this film to be a really fun and hilarious time. One other complaint in my opinion is I'm not the biggest fan of the ending since it felt like everything happened so quickly and I wish the movie would've been longer so we could've explored some of this stuff that happened at the end some more and it felt sort of rushed near the end in my personal opinion but other than my little complaints I found myself to have a great time with this movie and going into this movie with no expectations at all I was pleasantly surprised with this movie and I honestly throughly enjoyed it and I think this is worth checking out in theaters for sure once it officially releases theatrically.
Mystery movie Monday got me special access to watch Jurassic World Rebirth two weeks early and here's my honest opinion on the film. I think the movie delivers a much better story than the last entry in this franchise and delivers and gives us a really good film in my personal opinion. Let me start with my positives of the film I think the story was quite good and simple to follow and understand as well and I found most of the characters to be quite enjoyable and portrayed well Scarlett Johansson gives us a really solid performance as the lead and Jonathan Bailey also gives us a strong performance as well but I really found Mahershala Ali to really stand out in this movie for me as he delivered a really good performance and he was my favorite character in the film for sure. I really loved the dinosaurs in the film as well as they looked so fantastic as well on the big screen yet again although some CGI looks really choppy at times and there's a certain character in this film who I thought was horrible and useless as well I don't want to get into spoilers since this film doesn't come out for two weeks. My biggest complaint with the film is how most of these characters in this movie have so much plot armor I swear most of these characters should've died like multiple times but they didn't due to some insane plot armor in the movie. I also feel like like the D-Rex was hyped up to be this super evil dinosaur and villain of the film but I swear that dinosaur is in this movie for maybe like 5 minutes and that's about it so if you're going into this movie expecting this dinosaur to play a crucial role prepared to be disappointed. The cinematography in this movie though was absolutely stunning and fantastic it seriously might be the best in this entire franchise including Jurassic Park and I enjoyed some of the more horror elements thrown into the movie as well as it gives me some actual scares in the movie as well. But overall I think most people will have themselves a great time with this movie and I highly recommend to check it out on the big screen!
