The first time i saw this in the early 90's I loved it and I recently re-watched it (2002) and still loved it, it lost a bit of it's surprise though. The characters start get knocked off pretty quick, but the animation is good for it's time. Like Aliens series...then watch this!
I think this was a very surreal cartoon, much like He-Man! Don't get me wrong I like it, but when I look back on it, What the hell is going on? Watching it is like watching a dream. It's like sleeping over at your great aunt Selma's house, you know the one with the 17 cats and fur on all her wood furniture, you slowly drift to sleep under a blanket of cat fur then...BAM...dreaming about a bunch of muscle-bound cats running wild in the forest fighting mutated vultures and mummies. Hmmmm! Drugs...Just say NO! I like that Russel Huxtable did the voice of Panthro and I hope they release the series on DVD as all great cartoon classics should be.
