The series has many hiccups, like weak script, immature picturisation of football matches, unnecessary dragging of sub-plots and vague inter-personal relationships of the players. Still the idea and sincerity would hook you to this eight episodes web series till the end. Manav Kaul and Zeeshan Ayub are definitely the best artist of second league of OTT. Cinematography is the key and lanes of inner Srinagar have been perfectly captured.

Not a top class but see the genuine efforts of kashmiris to restore peace and appreciate.

Just watch it, you will feel connected throughout. Simple, no added masala and well presented. Just watch and you are going to love it. Zeeshan Ayub is gradually going onto the next level through his acting. Every else also played their part perfectly. My 9 year old son recommended this to mez who is also a football fan and I am surely gonna thank him :-)

RFKC is one of those series which has used the problems of Kashmir as a backdrop and it's a very wise choice. As a viewer the intuition of what challenges Kashmir will offer is obvious. This means that foreground is something else . Foreground has a visionary, investor, manager, coach, players. What the series is able to do really well is show the strength and sacrifices of visionary who needs to make very tough professional and social choices, challenges of investor who needs to decide how much heart to put and why, challenges of a coach who is in double mind, challenges to manage talent in team, challenge of each player who have to beat their own self and society. The story is also about how a goal can unite each one and stop a lot what is going on in Kashmir. The climax is amazingly put where people of Kashmir win against so called Kashmiriyat by the local youth club. The story is about transformation, grit , determination and how everything changes to support a Goal. A goal in football unites players , a goal in life unites everyone. Football as a game plays a very important role and is again a very strategic and wise choice which works symbolically and literally. The story is about also a divided team and how it learns to work together.
