Oxy Morons

I had a hard time getting engaged with this film.

There are way too many "main" characters. And the portrayal fo any "role" is perhaps explained in 30 seconds, once.. it's VERY easy to lose track of individual character motivations. And there's A LOT, A LOT of dialog. The story is rather simple at face value - smuggle drugs from Canada... but it comes across as a convoluted mess which is hard to follow as a story.

This, to me, is far more a "scene" film - where some scenes may be interesting and perhaps a little humorous, but as a whole it *felt* like it was all dialog with VERY little actual activity scenes. I didn't keep an eye on any clock, but it seemed like 20 minutes of dialog from myriad different characters, followed by 3 minutes of activity.. then back to dialog.

Meh.. this film just couldn't hold my interested, and due to that, I didn't find it funny either.
