This is one of the most necessary films to be watched and talked about sensitive content and the writing was top notch. I say this film is top 5 movies of 2025. People should not ignore these kind of film and move to commercial films. We audience need to support these type of films and make the standards of the kolluwood.

Great feel good movie to end the year 2025. Watched without expectations and turned out to be very good movie(roller coaster ride of mixed emotions). Once again Vikram Prabhu nailed his role very well as a great cop(matured and manly) not sure why he's not getting good break(good acting after Tanakaran, irugapatru, this movie could be another good turning point). One of the very good underrated & talented actor. His script selections were good which again proved in this movie. Lot of good moments/messages in this movie(accused died during escape blame police, police dies during accused escape then also blame police, amount of pressure and insult police go through, helping accused in court scenes, Inspector role and dialogues in the station, system punishing few people without even listening to their side, good cop can change someone life, bad cop can ruin many life). Movie will keep you in edge of seat till the end(will keep you guessing till the end what would be the next). Lead pair and all others did their part very well. Good acting by the lover girl. Special appreciation to the boy mother character.. done well. No negatives in this movie? There are few(this movie has many resembles of myna movie and the impact it gave, how Vikram reached court next day till before night he was occupied, how many police are there with this much good intentions ? Etc) those can be ignored in a good movie. Pls do watch in theatre and support these kind of good movies. No unwanted violence or vulgar scenes, can be watched with Family and friends.

More than 250 films release this year but this movie really stolen the heart whomever watch this film, I am sure if you are really a human...at least a single drop of tears will be there in your eyes, Just It breaks the Everything which tamil cinema given still this movie release, a complete which wholesome climax......Sirai is a peak cinema,💯💯 Must Watch ✨

Sirai (2025) - Tamil movie review

After a long time, we have got a good movie in Tamil cinema and this movie stands very tall among others.

Vikram Prabhu was absolutely fantastic with his performances and gave his career best performance.

Overall it's a roller coaster drama addressing minority oppression and delayed justice.

The story telling is just perfect and kept us on edge till the last minute. It's humanly impossible to walk out without tears after watching this movie.

I urge everyone to watch this in theatres. Let's support movies like this!!.

Sirai is a gripping film that pulls you in right from the start. The story feels real, the emotions feel earned and the tension builds in a way that keeps you invested all the way through. Vikram Prabhu gives a controlled and intense performance. Anishma brings a natural honesty to her part. Akshay delivers moments that stay in your mind long after the scene is over. Together, they carry the film with strong energy and depth.

And then there is Ananda Thambirajah. She appears less than the others, but every time she is on screen, the character feels alive. There is something very sincere about the way she plays it. You do not realize that this is her first film, because nothing about it looks inexperienced. Her performance is subtle, confident and believable, and it quietly stays with you after the movie ends. It feels like she has a lot more ahead of her and will only grow from here.

Sirai left a real emotional impact on me. It is thoughtful, intense and memorable. For me, it is a clear 10 out of 10.
