I super loved this show, I am glad that netflix produce another Japanese Reality TV show similar to Terrace House vibe. I love Terrace house so much but unfortunately they stopped producing, but with Offline Love? I freaking love it so much that the vibe is there, the comedian commentators, the city of Nice, the real feelings, and real scenario, like It's sooo good! I really love it! I really can't express enough how I like it.
I never expected that I would cry with this show, and I laughed so hard with the scenes, and cringiness of the cast, like the feelings are so real, like i don't know.. And the twist.. Like after watching this, I also realize that FATE might be real. And also, If the person really likes you, they will always choose you even they have met and talked to other person. Like there will be a person for you, and let just FATE do its magic.
PLEASE WATCH THIS SHOW, so you'll know what i am saying!

Ten strangers gather in the picturesque city of Nice in France without any mobile devices.
The strength of this show definitely lies in its premise. While other dating shows have a more structured approach, Offline Love allows the participants to freely roam around the city and act according to their desires. This not only allows us to develop a more personal attachment to the participants, but also evokes the excitement of travel. Offline Love includes beautiful shots of Nice's streets, squares and beaches.
Another strength is found in the cast for Offline Love. We find a variety of attitudes towards love, and approaches to communicate it. Offline Love allows us to discover more about the participants' hobbies and interests than shows like Single's Inferno, which does not reveal a lot about its participants beyond the surface level, making it more difficult to form a connection. I have regularly found myself relating to, or being intrigued by cast members of Offline Love, however.
I hope to see a continuation of this show with the same premise, in another city. This show has not only allowed me to reflect on my own strengths and weakness by watching the participants' developments, but has also stimulated me to live more in the moment and be more aware of my surroundings. Perhaps, someday, I will find my own Offline Love that way.

I've never cried so much and laughed so much or cringed so much from a tv show. Everything about this show was just perfect. 10/10. This is what I mean when I say I want a sentimental love reality series, we are tired of the cliche hot singles meet on a island and fall in love. We need more of this meeting with no digitals, striving to meet each other around the city and sending each other letters to meet, waiting for each other i've never felt my heart shake so much in a show to the point i had to pause and breathe several times. But this show definitely delivered.😭😭😭😭 i reccommend this show 1000% i got so much terrace house vibes from this show, does anyone remember terrace house? Anyway the groups dynamic was spectacular, i could feel how they fell in love, or when they were rejected, and the views of the french city of Nice?? BEAUTIFULL face-red-heart-shape even the hosts were great, especially those 2 comedians they were amazing. I have huge respect for the japanese, they're very polite and honest of their feelings, i only just wish they were more expressive so we could've avoided all of the unnecessary heartbreak in the show. I hope they do more seasons of this show, and maybe do it in a different city with a whole new cast.

I cannot believe how deeply this show touched me. I'm not one to write reviews but I feel a responsibility to do so because of how beautiful I believe this series to be. The idea of Offline Love is that the people in the show find each other without their phones or any other devices, going on dates and writing letters to each other. They only spend 10 days in the same city, which makes their time even more valuable. This format truly brings out the best interactions and forces the participants to be braver, more human, and more intentional. I don't know if this is particular to Japanese culture, but the level of politeness, respect, and the lack of drama between people dating each other and between potential rivals is a true breath of fresh air in reality tv. The commentary in between is also extremely entertaining and warm, it feels like you're watching the show with good friends who want the best for the people involved in the show. Having to watch Offline Love with subtitles also forces the viewer, in case they don't speak Japanese, to pay attention to every line. This personally made me enjoy it more deeply and it made me feel a lot more present than if I would scroll my phone while passively watching. The people on the show are extremely kind, open, and compassionate, and their love stories are complex, dramatically beautiful, and painfully real in the best possible way. I also think the men deserve a shoutout for being softer, more honest, and kinder than what many of us are used to in not only tv, but also in every day life. I think this series shows us that an offline love is still very much possible in a modern world, and it provides young people with a great example of how to approach dating and friendship. I hope there will be many seasons to come, and I thank the creators of this show for an absolute masterpiece. Arigato.
After watching "Better Late Than Single". I found dating reality show is a great type of show. It's kinda like documentaries which is drama and heartbreaking sometimes.
But this one def better than "Better Late Than Single". Cuz the camera just rly rly objective. There's no interview during the show. We don't get interrupted or told what situation and mood the characters are in, which is great. We just seeing, we are outsiders, so we can see more emotions and be more objective on the show. Tho lots of them are actors so they might did some fake cry or something. But this show more emotions and humanity than other dating shows for me.
The existence of cameras can change the vibe and atmosphere of environment, which can make the characters feel something they don't mean it. But for me, I willing to believe this show is 100% real and that freaking love.
And I fall in love with Tohko and Kanaka. Btw the final decision of Kanaka makes this show more realistic and that decision also makes Kanaka takes over the place of Tohko in my heart.
This might be my last comment, cuz I'm gonna throw my phone away.
