My Safe Zone is the kind of series that surprises you in the best way. I started it casually, without expecting much, and ended up far more emotionally invested than I thought I would. What truly makes the series stand out is the chemistry between Lena and Miu. Their scenes feel natural, warm, and full of small details that make their connection believable. Sometimes it's just a glance or a quiet moment between them, but it carries so much feeling that you can't help but get drawn in.
One thing that stayed with me is how sincere the emotions feel. Even with the short episodes and the fast pace, the show manages to create moments that feel intimate and honest. There were several times when I wished the episodes were a bit longer, not because something was missing, but because I simply wanted more time with the characters and their feelings.
If I had to point out a weakness, it would definitely be the pacing. Some events happen too quickly, and a few emotional beats could have been even more powerful with just a little more buildup. The secondary characters also had potential to shine more, but they don't get enough screen time to fully develop.
Despite those small issues, the overall experience was genuinely touching. The ending felt right-hopeful, gentle, and consistent with the tone the series builds. It's not a perfect show, but it has heart, sincerity, and two lead actresses who carry it with beautiful chemistry.
