The one start review makes no sense as the series is based in a true story.
Everything seems very accurate and the this prism in Brazil is well known for having crime celebrities and makes it no as dangerous as the other prisons and this is why many want to stay there.
It is interesting and give us a good view of each case.

This is a review for all the non-Brazilian audience, like me.
Overall, it's a bad show. To sum up: shallow, cartoonish characters with weak dialogue. It somehow manages to have the worst soundtrack in history. Brazilian actors in movies or TV shows can't seem to break free from the soap opera style, the performances are exaggerated and unnatural. The writers don't help either; the dialogue is overdone in a way no real person would ever speak.
My mom is Brazilian, so I always try to watch Brazilian shows to practice my Portuguese. But it's really hard to find one that's actually good, most are like this one, superficial with bad acting.
On top of that, it highlights how the Brazilian judicial and criminal system is a bad joke. Every character portrayed in this series would still be in prison in any serious country, but in Brazil they get out quickly. Crime pays there.

One of the worst productions I've ever seen in my life. The acting is terrible, the stories make no sense, no beginning, middle, or end. The soundtrack is awful, perhaps the most negative aspect of the series, and that's saying something considering the rest is abominable. The only decent performance is by the character Mariano. If you enjoy feeling secondhand embarrassment and wondering how someone could have released something like this, this series is for you.

Directed by Vera Egito and Daniel Lieff, Tremembé delivers an intriguing narrative that keeps you eager to watch the next episode. The acting is a major highlight. Marina Ruy Barbosa gives an outstanding performance as the murderer Suzane von Richthofen, masterfully capturing her mannerisms and gestures seen in real-life interviews. Equally impressive is Letícia Rodrigues, whose portrayal of Sandrão is truly remarkable.
Excellent character development. As a Brazilian, I still vividly remember the scenes and their unfolding events. Seeing those memories reflected on TV was very interesting. And understand the behind-the-scenes aspects of the "celebrities" prison was curious. I recommend to those who loves true crime.

- CuriosidadesCristian Cravinhos went online to deny his involvement with a man while in jail as depicted in the series, but was debunked by the Tremembé book author and his own lover, Ricardo de Freitas Nascimento (Duda), who is named Luka in the series.
