‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’: “Belly Can’t Stop Thinking of Conrad in the Club” Scene Raises the Stakes
Image
The Summer I Turned Pretty drops a tense club moment where Belly spirals over her upcoming wedding, and the secondary thread — “Belly Can’t Stop Thinking of Conrad in the Club” — takes center stage. The clip finds Belly stepping outside for air as doubts flood in, and the triangle with Jeremiah and Conrad surges back into focus.

After saying she’s overwhelmed, Belly mentions the whirlwind wedding planning and even the “big unicorn” prize that Jeremiah won. However, her voice shakes when she admits the truth: this has never been her dream wedding. Instead, she confesses that she “only ever pictured Conrad.”

Then comes the reveal. Belly tells Taylor she lied about Christmas at Cousins.

50 Cent Brings Ed Sheeran Onstage to Perform “Shape of You” in London: Watch
Ed Sheeran
50 Cent fans at the London stop of the rapper’s “Final Lap Tour” got a surprise when the rapper welcomed Ed Sheeran onstage to perform “Shape of You.”

Fiddy’s performance was in full swing at the O2 Arena on Tuesday (November 21st) — celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ — when a cube descended onto the stage digitally adorned with the message: “There is a monster in this box.”

Moments later, Sheeran emerged from underneath the stage — sans acoustic guitar — as the familiar open chords from his 2017 megahit “Shape of You” chimed in. Screams of excitement from concertgoers filled the arena as they were told by 50 Cent to “turn it up even more!” Sheeran watched the rest of the set from the crowd, rapping along to hits like “In the Club.”

After the performance, the rapper posted a picture of the duo backstage, writing:...

Film Review: The Club
★★★★★ Behind the closed doors of the house on the hill lie many secrets. Enveloped in heavy fog, perched above a raging sea, the past sins of four men remain shrouded in mystery. In The Club, Pablo Larraín dives headlong into an evil that Catholicism has long attempted to sweep under the carpet. A physical and emotional assault on the senses, sensibilities and conscience, the Chilean director has crafted a chilling, unflinching indictment of church sponsored cover-ups of widespread child abuse. Painful in both its moral ambiguity and subject matter, The Club is a brave, profoundly unsettling piece of filmmaking.

James White (2015)
‘James White’ Review: Christopher Abbott Plays Cynthia Nixon’s Wayward Son Turned Caregiver
James White (2015)
The title character in “James White” is a good guy who sometimes behaves badly. As a 21-year-old New Yorker, though, James (Christopher Abbott) isn’t atypical of his demographic when he, for example, drinks and takes drugs and dances until morning, as we see in the disorienting and slightly nauseating opening scene. In the club, James is heavy-lidded and obviously high, with the dance floor’s rap beat easily drowning out “Don’t Let the Sun Catch You Crying,” which he’s listening to through headphones. He nods out in the cab on his way home. When you see what’s awaiting James there,...

Cold Feet: Where are the cast of ITV's hit series now?
Is ITV really going to bring back Cold Feet?

That's the rumour, with the broadcaster apparently looking to plug the Downton-shaped hole in its schedule with a revival of the popular comedy-drama.

If it's true, they'll have a job bringing the cast back together - some have gone on to be huge telly and film stars, while others have stepped out of the spotlight entirely...

James Nesbitt

Nesbitt's carefree lothario Adam Williams met his match in Helen Baxendale's Rachel - the couple overcame infidelity and infertility but were denied lasting happiness when Rachel was killed in a traffic accident.

Since Cold Feet wrapped, Nesbitt has become one of British television's most in-demand leading men.

He fronted BBC One's gritty cop series Murphy's Law from 2003-07, led Steven Moffat's supernatural thriller Jekyll - also in 2007 - and played the title character in ITV's short-lived medical drama Monroe (2011-12).

Of late,...

Sherlock: Steven Moffat on the show's future
Rob Leane Louisa Mellor Feb 21, 2017

Steven Moffat says "not doing [Sherlock] again would be fine. If that was it, then that would be it"...

This Broadcast interview with Steven Moffat is well worth a read. In it, he discusses leaving Doctor Who, his original plan to exit after Peter Capaldi's second series, the show's scheduling issues last year, new Executive Producer Chris Chibnall, and more.

See related Dragon's Lair movie hits crowdfunding goal

It's his comments on Sherlock though, that fans are keen to hear amid a feeling that the series four finale may have been a permanent end to the hit BBC show.

"The ratings were extremely good," said Moffat "so I guess they’ll ask us again, and then we’ll have to see first of all if we have three films we want to make, and then if Benedict and Martin have the time, schedule and inclination.

Who is Sacha Dhawan?: The rise of British TV's most prolific star
Who is Sacha Dhawan?

Ever since his star-making role as Doctor Who's first director Waris Hussein in Mark Gatiss' brilliant drama An Adventure in Space and Time, this up-and-comer has seemingly not left our television screens.

From parts in cult series In The Flesh and Utopia to a guest stint on flashy Us drama 24, not to mention his latest gig on BBC One's In The Club, Dhawan has had quite the year.

Digital Spy spoke to Sacha about his career thus far and the range of different characters he's brought to life in some of UK television's best dramatic series.
