Newport magistrate Claire Lewis-Jones faces a huge dilemma when her daughter gets involved with local troublemaker Sonny Higgins, whose boss has just been robbed of millions of pounds.

It feels like an age since we last had a quality Welsh drama; think of Hinterland, Hidden, and Keeping Faith. This is another welcome addition and features several well-known faces.

I thoroughly enjoyed it; it doesn't hang around, it's straight into the action, the story is absorbing and very fast-moving. There's a lot going on, but it's straightforward and easy to follow.

Erin Richards and Lloyd Meredith were excellent. Tom Cullen is the star of the show as the villain of the piece; he plays the part so well. He's so menacing, he definitely looks the part-the standout.

You have to hand it to the production team; they got a few flattering shots of Newport.

Slow poor unbelievable Where to start. I've said it a million times before if you don't believe in the character you won't believe in the story The husband and wife until the end of episode one I wasn't even sure if they were husband and wife The big bad villain was as scary as my newsagent As for the magistrate totally unbelievable The worst thing about it all is how slow it is 3 episodes in and still nothing to make you want to keep watching. When you get to the point where you don't really care what's going on and just decide to go to bed I remember reading Agatha Christie saying you must hook your reader in the first 2 chapters which this show clearly doesn't.
