Olivia (Erin Krakow) gets her big break as a TV home designer for a holiday makeover on Christmas Eve, she's stunned that the network hires Chris (Daniel Lissing) to oversee the TV and live reveal on Christmas Eve. Throw in a magic (and changing) letter from the real Santa that says her true love is named Nick and she has to find him by Christmas, well hijinks ensues.
This sounds a lot more complicated than it is. And to be honest, I had extremely low expectations for this one. The trailer and commercials were awful. Having a lead interested in three Nicks (and a Chris) is not my thing, but they play it cool and funny. Olivia proceeds to give different Nicks a concussion, black eye and for good measure, poison another one. The Nicks woo Olivia hard, and all seem nice, yet she's not all in, despite spending all of her free time on dates during the biggest moment of her career. Yes, she just might have a better connection with another fella-the aforementioned Chris (if that is your real name).
Despite my best efforts to not like this movie, they turned me. It was good. While it did seem like they crunched three or four different holiday themes into one movie, somehow it works, and I had more fun that I could have anticipated in this fast-paced movie. Yes, fast-paced . . . A Hallmark movie. What is the world coming to?
Goofy notes -Stop trying to make Seattle snowy. It ain't a thing.
-The train in the final scene is leaving for Spokane, Washington. Hello, my hometown.
-Three weeks to fix a house is the least believable thing in this movie. They film Hallmark movies in the summer so they can be ready by winter. Seriously?
-Dating three or four people at the same time is never a good idea.
-If the Nicks do get their own dating show, I would watch that.
Measuring Christmas Magic: Yes, a magic letter from Santa is key. Plus taking a horse drawn carriage across Seattle in less than nine minutes on Christmas Eve is some kind of traffic magic.
Cast Kudos: Nick A (Benjamin Ayres). Who actually seems believable as a pediatric neurosurgeon.
Alternative Titles: So Many Nicks for Christmas; In the Nick of Time; Olivia Dates so many Nicks.
Originally aired on Hallmark on Nov. 9, watched Nov. 10.

Olivia is a successful designer, and is about to host her first TV show for Style Network. Her producer hires Chris Davis, the producer of a TV show called Model Home, to oversee her project. Unhappy about this, she lashes out at her driver, only to find out this is Chris.
The idea for the show is to transform a home into a home Santa would like to live in. Chris chooses Olivia's childhood home, which has been abandoned for a while and was purchased by the studio. They have three weeks to turn this rundown home into a perfect holiday home. But boy, do these two get off on the wrong foot!
As a child, Olivia wrote a letter to Santa, and now she finds a letter - from Santa - telling her that she will find her soulmate by Christmas, and that his name is Nick. Only, she meets three guys named Nick: Nick A, Nick B, and Nick C.
Trying to figure out who her soulmate is, she goes on dates with all three of them. Yeah, this is Hallmark, so it is predictable from the beginning. But this is a really sweet movie, and it put a smile on my face! With likeable characters, a good script, and even a bit of fantasy, I was thoroughly entertained. This was fabulous, actually!

No offence, but these kind of movies can be great for people who love the (laugh or i shoot) "Friends" humor.
The more did not give me any christmas feeling, more like the terror you have to went to as male to sit next to your social happy cozy new girlfriend and have to watch this movie, because "hey lets laugh fake, and have fun" brrr
i am not a guy who easy give movies lower then 5 stars, this movie does not deserve 5 stars only the staff alone did their best, and it is a movie you can watch in full lenght( though walking to the fridge often to escape) their are way better christmas movies been made.

Here was get the start of an antithetical romance, and the antithetical part lasts far longer than they manage in most movies where they try the trope.
A woman doing a Home Makeover type of TV show thinks she's getting in a rideshare and begins bitterly complaining about a man who's been assigned, out of the blue, as the director of her special. Of course, she'd gotten in the wrong car and the man she's complaining to IS the director, who of course doesn't correct her mistake until he finds out everything she has to say. LOL
Then a bit of the mystical pops up as a letter from Santa tells her she will find her true love in a man named Nick. She promptly meets cute with not one but THREE Nicks. Trying to figure out which one the mystical note means, she dates all three.
On the other hand, she starts to like the director more and more.
Cute movie, and one we might decide to watch again.

Honestly, the much-publicised on-screen reunion of Erin Krakow (current "When Calls the Heart" star) and Australia's Daniel Lissing (former "When Calls the Heart" star, and returnee from the GAC Family wilderness) wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
Don't get me wrong - the scenes they were in together were fantastic. My issue is simply that there weren't enough of them. Krakow had more scenes with Benjamin Ayers, Christopher Russell and Kurt Szarka.
Nonetheless, a fun if not necessarily iconic Hallmark Christmas movie with enough nice scenes and a little Santa magic. And definitely a big moment if you're a WCTH fan.
It would be great to see a Krakow/Lissing movie reunion again in future years, just with them sharing the screen a whole lot more.

Wow! Hallmark came up with a great new plot for Santa Tell Me. No tired retreads here. Erin is the best I've ever seen her in this movie - so real, natural, and charming. And I LOVE having four Hallmark leading men vying for her. It is just fantastic fun. Each of the three initial contenders does a fantastic job portraying the potential right guy, but each with fun quirks we normally wouldn't see in the leads. And there are soo many laugh-out-loud, feel good moments. The resolution of it all is so satisfying and doesn't feel rushed, even with the high energy of the final scenes. This movie is one I will look forward to each year to lift my spirits. Whimsical, magical, romantic. What more can we ask of Hallmark and some great actors at the top of their games?

I enjoyed watching this movie very much! Seeing Jack and Elizabeth from 'When Calls The Heart' aka Chris and Olivia, together again was heartwarming. This couple has amazing on-screen chemistry and I hope Hallmark goes on to put them together in future movies.
This movie has a unique storyline, which I really liked. It shows the magic of Christmas seen from the eyes of a child and rings it back again 25 years later, when she's grown up. Olivia has a choice to make in order to find her soulmate, her true love.
The only part that was unrealistic was giving Olivia's childhood home a makeover in 3 weeks. In real life it would take much longer than that. However, I really could care less because the rest of the movie made up for that.

This movie promises romance and Christmas magic, and let me tell you it DELIVERS. So nice to see Hallmark make a genuinely funny comedy that still has all the heart and feels a Christmas movie should! I love Erin Krakow from When Calls the Heart and have REALLY been missing Daniel Lissing from the show, and it's SO AMAZING to see them on screen together again. And Erin's other leading men? Oh. My. Goodness. I couldn't believe some of the surprise cameos who showed up to try and win her over. Watched it twice already, truly everything I was hoping for and more. All I want for Christmas is a sequel!

These two are just magic together. There is something very special about this couple. I hope we get to see more collaborations with our favorite hallmark couple. They have a magical connection and make such a beautiful couple. Erin and Dan seem so comfortable around each other but there is also a spark that you can see in these two that just ignite when they are together. I was trying to pick up on some puns and I did that will pick up their history in the movie . It's undeniable how much there chemistry between them is from When Calls the Heart. I still rewatch the beginning seasons just to see them together. It feels like you are watching real life happen with them. This movie will be on your favorite Christmas movie list.

Olivia (Erin Krakow) is an interior designer who is forced to work with a new producer and director for the Christmas special, enter Chris (Daniel lissing). They inmediately start bickering about the project, and he suggest working on her childhood house. There, she finds a magical letter that warns her she will meet the love of her life called Nick. She then has 3 meet cutes with three different Nicks.
I love Erin, she always shines as the leading lady, she is amazing. And i'm gonna be honest, I was a bit bitter about Daniel coming back to Hallmark after going to the other channel and leaving WCTH, but the truth is that his chemistry with Erin is off the charts.
Unfortunately, that did not translate into this movie. They have few scenes together, not enough to appreciate it. You can only truly appreciate it in the final scene. Erin's character has way too much scenes with the dates, (featuring Hallmark's Benjamin Ayres and Christopher Rusell) few with Chris and almost none in the project they are working.
I think that this script was not ideal for this reunion and it sucked. I would have liked to watch them in a movie in which they spend all of it chasing something and forcing them into funny moments together.
And while it's a enjoyable and magical Christmas movie, I was disappointed by it.

Oh my goodness, Santa Tell Me is just the sweetest holiday movie! I laughed, I cried, and I felt all the Christmas cheer. The story is so heartwarming, and the cast is just adorable. Erin Krakow really shines as the lead - she's so charming and relatable, and her chemistry with Daniel Lissing is just magical. And the holiday decorations! And those love interests! And don't even get me started on the cozy, festive scenes that make you want to curl up with hot cocoa. Finally, a Hallmark classic the whole family can enjoy. If you need a dose of Christmas spirit, Santa Tell Me is an absolute must-watch!

This movie was funny. It was entertaining. It was slightly unexpected. And all around a great hallmark film.
Olivia having the social capacity to date 3... wait 4 men AND organize teams of people to design a house AND film scenes for her show - I'm impressed! That must be her superpower.
I would say my main criticism is that kiss at the end. Did I need to watch them try to eat each others faces? No. It was a little much and not very pleasant to see. Maybe the actors were a little too familiar with each other after acting in When Calls The Heart together. But overall they were a cute couple in the film, I was definitely rooting for Nick in the end..

Oh my goodness, Santa Tell Me is just the sweetest holiday story! It's got everything you'd want in a Christmas movie-romance, laughs, and just the right touch of magic to make it special. Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing really knocked it out of the park with this one. I mean, a story like this could've been just another Christmas romance, but they brought it to life in such a warm and charming way.
What I loved most is how it balances those heartfelt emotional moments with laugh-out-loud funny ones. It's one of those movies that'll have you tearing up one minute and giggling the next, which is exactly what I want in a Christmas flick. And the magic-oh, that letter to Santa! It takes what could've been a pretty typical love story and turns it into something so unique and special.
The way each Nick brings a different twist to Olivia's love story just makes the whole thing feel fresh and fun. And my favorite part was realizing the story's not just about finding love, it's about growing as a person and being open to those unexpected surprises life throws at you, especially around Christmastime.
Honestly, if you're looking for a movie that'll make you laugh, cry, and believe in a little holiday magic, Santa Tell Me is the one to watch. It's just such an absolute delight!

Well, in 2024, Erin Krakow got a hair cut and the new "do" works wonders for her here. Always good in any part she plays, she is really exceptional here. I don't think she has ever played such a high energy and smartly witty character before - and she really carries it off. Her character is fun and interesting - even though she finds herself in some very frustrating circumstances.
There's some of that old fashioned Christmas "magic" here where you have to sort of suspend belief, but it all works pretty well in the story and it is not overly fantastical.
Krakow's male co-stars are all very good, particularly Daniel Lissing as her co-worker, and the other three regular Hallmark actors, who play the three Nick's, have a chance to play roles that are very different from their standard fare and they really pull it off well. The scene where they meet each other for the first time is, to their credit, hilarious.
But, this is Krakow's movie - she's in almost every scene - and she carries it off with lots of talent and spirit - and a very attractive new "do." You can't imagine this character wearing her hair any differently - it fits her personality perfectly.

Erin Krakow plays Olivia and Daniel Lissing plays Chris in this hate to love Hallmark holiday romance that delightfully reunites these two beloved When Calls The Heart former cast members.
Hate to love is one of my favorite genres and I was actually pretty happy with this script. Olivia is looking forward to directing and starring in a holiday fixer-upper special, until her boss gives her and the job to the man behind "model home", Chris. Their relationship does not get started off on the best foot as Olivia mistakes Chris for her rideshare...and she vents about the horrible situation she is in, with some disparaging comments about this "Chris" who she has never met but thinks is wholly unsuitable for her show.
Meanwhile in a magical element, Olivia gets a letter from Santa, who tells her that she is going to meet her soulmate this Christmas and his name is Nick...but added stress, she has to decide to be with him before midnight on Christmas Eve or risk being alone forever. She then proceeds to meet and date three hunky Nicks simultaneously.
I really enjoyed the slow build between Chris and Olivia. I also really enjoyed Olivia's relationship with her sister Darcy. I thought the magical Santa letter was beautiful and the dates particularly with Nick A...well, let's just say I'd like to go on those.
I think romantics and Christmas fans will really enjoy this one...especially When Calls the Heart fans!

7.5 stars.
The story is quite good and the idea is really endearing for any person who enjoys Hallmark films. But I feel like this is a bunch of ingredients from a dozen Hallmarks all rolled up into one.
It contains the magic part, with some magic Santa appearances, and a magic letter, and fate, and even a little bit of a riddle to solve, and there's a TV show within the movie and several supporting male roles that are all more than supporting actors. So this film has a bunch of major players, and the story is full of potential, so it attracts a wider audience.
But what's the downside? It's not put together very well. The story is not as seamless as I would have preferred.
But it's Krakow and a bunch of cool guys and she is good as ever, even if her character seems a bit slow, as in not the sharpest tool in the shed, so to speak.
Nevertheless, I had a bit of fun and will watch this again in about 5 years or so.

Dan and Erin create wonderful chemistry in no matter what they star in. This movie has a top-notch supporting cast as well. Ben, Chris, Kurt and Jess create their characters well and are fabulous in their respective roles. However, the story is dumb and too unrealistic for a Christmas movie. The "magic" and notes are fake. Nothing in this movie would actually happen in real life. The comedy is not funny, more like ridiculously dumb. The last 15 minutes (ending) is over the top terrible. My rating is for the cast as I like each of them as actors and actresses. Not a high quality Christmas romance. Do not waste your time. Hallmark needs to improve their stories to be about Christmas.

Wow, finally something new. Erin and Daniel are a dream pair. I almost couldn't wait for the day it premiered but I had to. Bravo to the writer of this story; it was totally different from the run-of-the-mill, same-old-same-old stories all the Christmas movie channels are putting out. So many stories have been so generic and non-engaging. Many pairings have no chemistry, so they're not worth watching. This one I've watched about fifty times since it came out. Probably many more. It just feels so fun and non-predictable. 100 stars if that were a thing!! Please put them together again. I haven't seen any teasers for this coming year, so I'm very curious what lies ahead. I can only pray that they are anywhere as good as this one with the outstanding cast, all of the people were so entertaining,Thank you.

Santa Tell Me, the movie about a magic Christmas note that writes itself and forces dudes to fall for a woman, is a rollicking good time during parts of the movie. In other parts of the movie, it is an emotional masterpiece. And still in other parts of the movie, it is pure terror. My wife and I watched this the other night to close out Hallmark's three month run of Christmas movies. My wife fell asleep during the movie. She briefly woke up after the movie ended and I was watching Sportscenter and asked groggily if the main lady ended up with the guy yet. I told my wife that all the main characters were killed in a fiery boat accident where drinking was involved. That seemed to satisfy my wife's question, and she went back to sleep.
The actual movie, which focused on an HGTV show host relentlessly dating several dudes named Nick, was far less believable. I watched it to the end of the movie, and then poured one out for another successful Hallmark Christmas movie run - even though that was the first Hallmark movie I really watched this holiday season. But at least it had Chin-Implant Guy, who is becoming a staple of my holiday seasons. Bring on January!

Yup, another Christmas movie that I had no idea existed, before I stumbled upon it and opted to add it to this years Christmas movie marathon roster.
The storyline in the movie was adequate. It wasn't outstanding or overly memorable, but it certainly was a watchable movie, and entertaining enough for the sappy romantic story that it turned out to be. But with it being a Hallmark movie, of course the chances are very high that you'll find yourself drenched in sappy Christmas romance.
The movie does have a couple of familiar faces on the cast list, which also happened to star in other sappy Christmas movies, such as Erin Krakow and Christopher Russell. The acting performances in the movie were fair.
While "Santa Tell Me" is hardly worthy of being a Christmas classic, I am sure that diehard fans of sappy Christmas movies out there will get a bigger kick out of watching writer and director Ryan Landels's 2024 movie more than I did as a casual viewer.
My rating of "Santa Tell Me" lands on a five out of ten stars.
