I'm not sure why someone stated German accents acting as Englishmen. They must have watched it dubbed. Don't, watch it in its original German with subtitles on in English or whatever other language one needs. Everyone is a different nationality in This show, not just English.

Anyway, it's silly. Making fun of the aristocracy and the lies behind as well as the forbidden love Fun, mindless watch, if you enjoy spoofs. I think the chemistry with all the actors worked so well too.

A lovely idea for the sketch everybody watches on New Year's Eve. Honestly, it's not a great show, but I like the vibe and how the friendship develops over time, even though I still can't fully understand how they can still stand each other after everything.

I don't want to spoil anything if you plan to watch it, but please don't get your hopes up too high - I'm afraid you might be disappointed.

What can be said about this German production with German actors with German accents pretending to be Londoners?

The less, the better.

If you enjoyed the German "Edgar Wallace" and "Winnnetou" movies from the 1960s and 1970s, then you will possibly also enjoy this.... If you did not, then maybe not.
