Perdona si te llamo amor

I love rom-coms (a lot!) and I didn't like this one at all. The age gap is big and bothers plus there is no chemistry between the lead actors, no sparkle, no reason for them to fall in love.

Hard to watch. A waste of time.

Simple as well as sensitive film about youthful , including comedy , drama , emotion , along with colorful cinematography and wonderful songs . Light romantic movie deals with a 37-year-old , clever , successful advertising executive called Alex (Daniel Liotti) is longing to finally find emotional stability in his life , and decides to propose marriage to his girlfriend Elena (Irene Montala) . After she refuses his proposal , he is looking for the perfect advertising not to loose his job . Confused about being left alone , he avoids the idea of falling in love again . After being left his sweet-heart , Alex life takes a turn when a new young lady , a bubbly high school senior , enters his life . Niki (Paloma Bloyd) is a 17 years-old student , she's preparing her high school exams . One day , Alex accidentally runs over Niki, from that moment on everything will start to change . A traffic accident involving Niki , a teen ager in a motorcycle , serves as the excuse to have them meet . Alex and Niki fall in love but both are more than 20 years of difference between them .

Hilarious as well as romantic comedy is loaded with an enjoyable love story , nutty situations , funny events , and with a distinctly Spanish sense of humor . It results to be a remake to "Scusa Ma Ti Chiamo Amore" or "Sorry, If I Love You" with Raoul Bova as Alessandro 'Alex' Belli and Michela Quattrociocche as Niki Cavalli , being written and directed by Federico Moccia . Federico is a Best-seller writer and director , known for¨ Amore 14¨ , ¨Scusa Ma Ti Voglio Sposare¨ , ¨Tre Metri Sopra Il Cielo¨ (2004) or ¨Tres Metros Sobre el Cielo¨ (2010) and its sequel , ¨Tengo Ganas De Ti¨ (2012) . He also wrote several scripts as ¨Palla Al Centro¨ , ¨Ho Voglia Di Te¨ , ¨Classe Mista 3A¨ and ! Cannibal holocaust 2 ¡ . ¨Perdona Si Te Llamo Amor¨ relies heavily on the silly love story between and Niki/Paloma Bloyd and Alex/Daniel Liotti , reluctant at first who finally falls in love for her . The film moves in fits and starts most of which would be desirable , with more traps the viewer resists any kind , and some moments of enjoyment and others quite a few embarrassing . This is a typical Spanish romantic comedy from 2014 with the usual ingredients such as pleasing romance , brief drama , humor topped with a little bit of original elements here and there and improbable incidents . Although is full of predictability and cliché-ness the film results out to be pretty entertaining . It turns out to be pleasantly fun that offers no intellectual stimulus whatsoever ; an exercise in pure amusement in which entertainment and fun are guaranteed . The screenplay manages a lot of laughs from the audience and romantic elements that you never loose your attention from the film . Sympathetic performances from Daniel Liotti as a 37-year-old hard-working businessman . Liotti is an accomplished comedy actor and his presence is always welcome and here is perfect as successful , attractive , intelligent , and brilliant advertising executive . Paloma Bloyd is a beautiful newcomer to the Spanish cinema and she is unforgettable as a very young , free , impulsive and joyful teen . She parades sexily at her best and more relaxed and enticing than ever . Daniel and Paloma are cute together , and the chemistry was agreeable between them . The character Alex well performed by Daniel seems very passionate towards her . The comedy is mildly amusing , with that said though, I found it worthy to watch just for the pleasure of seeing gorgeous Paloma and attractive Daniel . I discovered ¨Scusa Ma Ti Chiamo Amore¨ after developing an interest in her . The hit of the show is undoubtedly for the fetching Paloma who gives the best fun screen acting . I liked everyone in the excellent cast, and the male and female actors , especially Paloma Bloyd/Daniel Liotti , were all very enticing . Support cast is frankly well such as Patricia Vico and Jaime Pujol as parents , Irene Montala , Pablo Ciapella , Andrea Duro , Cristina Brondo , Jan Cornet , Adria Collado . And cameo of Federico Moccia as the taxi driver .

Colorful photography in juicy atmosphere by David Omedes , deemed to be one of the best Spanish cameraman , he photographed successes such as ¨My mother likes woman , ¨Salvador¨ , ¨Chef's special¨, ¨Los Pelayo¨ , ¨A night in old Mexico¨ . Being filmed on location in Cadaqués, Girona, Barcelona , Catalonia, Spain . Catching musical score filled with marvellous songs sung by Dani Martin , Karen An , Terence Trent D'Arby , One Republic , Sananda Maitreya ,Vanessa Paradis , Lagarto Amarillo , Ed Sheeran , among others . The motion picture was professionally directed by Joaquin LLamas , though has some flaws and gaps . Joaquin manages to keep things moving around at a good pace . Llamas has also worked on film and television as a camera , editor and director assistant . But he is usually TV filmmaker , shooting episodes from ¨Acusados¨ , ¨Quart¨, Hermanos¨ , ¨Herederos¨, ¨Tita Cervera¨ and ¨Tierra De Lobos¨ .

This movie is like every typical romcom but better. It would have been the best if the actress were in college or out of college. And thanks to the makers for picking an older actress to play the role, that made things a little bit less awkward.
