Lindy Sampson (Victoria Justice) is a young New York hacker who is haunted by her sister Sara's abduction. Her roommate Sophia gets her to go online dating on Flirtual as Eye Candy. Soon, she's stalked by a possible serial killer. She is on parole and helped by coworker George Reyes. She is recruited into NYPD Cyber Crimes Unit to hunt down this killer, solve other crimes and find her sister.
Victoria Justice is a compelling actress but she's alone in a second rate computer hacker police drama. Most of the guys are model-hot but relatively shallow shells. They are the real eye candy. They are sugar for the eyes and empty calories for the brain. The friends characters have a few more interesting possibilities but never really fully realized. I like the mystery of her sister but that gets muddled and confused. I like less with the serial killer and how that story developed. The procedural part is a mix bag. I would laugh at this show except I've seen CSI Cyber. Doing a hacker centric TV show is not an easy thing without going ridiculous and cheesy. However the big party thrown by the media mogul in episode 5 is really silly.

I was hooked from the very beginning and am deeply saddened that the show didn't continue! Just as I was bragging to my colleagues and family about this awesome show I found and couldn't wait to get home to watch, it ended. I thought this show would kick off and go as far as Pretty Little Liars did, including the largely supportive fan base.
"Eye Candy" offers a thrilling ride through the world of cybercrime and online dangers, anchored by a strong performance from Victoria Justice as Lindy, a hacker determined to track down a serial killer targeting people through a dating app. The show combines suspense, mystery, and modern-day fears of technology to create a tense atmosphere that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The series excels in its portrayal of the dark side of the internet, with plot twists that maintain a steady level of suspense. The supporting cast is solid, and the show does a commendable job of balancing the thriller aspects with Lindy's personal journey, making her a relatable and engaging protagonist.
However, despite its strong start and intriguing premise, "Eye Candy" was cut short after just one season, leaving many plot threads unresolved and fans craving more. The lack of a proper conclusion may frustrate viewers who are drawn into its world, but it still remains a worthwhile watch for those who enjoy fast-paced, tech-based thrillers.

Just for start a new year, Eye Candy gives us an incredible action, drama, horror and love just in the pilot. Victoria Justice's portrays Lindy, a hacker who is involved to solve her sister kidnap. Although she's going to face some evil threat by the way. MTV has choose right. Since mid-2014 when the show was picked up, fans showed really great support to the show and for Justice who has a huge fan base and that's really helped up. This one-hour pilot take us to understand the begging of the facts and what is going for us in the future. With all technology on the screen, with some App uses and music hints. It all reminded me 'Watch Dogs' and that's a great point for MTV who is going to innovate with this brand new crime drama show Eye Candy is a good shot and has a good plot. I'm really going to catch all episodes. I think this is the best MTV Drama we've all seen.
I was expecting a totally PG series, considering that Victoria Justice is involved. However, this is a completely different role for her. Justice has shed her good-girl image in this new series and in all honestly it's pretty impressive. With a collection of bad-ass digs and dark lipstick, Justice takes on a darker role than her previous ones.
Sure, the show doesn't have much of a star-studded cast and doesn't showcase any incredible acting, but then again one of MTV's most popular shows "Awkward." started off the same way.
In my opinion, I would give this show a chance. It may seem like the typical cliché teen drama that Hollywood seems to dish out so often nowadays, but there's something else that has yet to be seen. I believe there's potential in this series; there's definitely somewhat of a uniqueness since it revolves so much around modern technology and pop culture. Plus, the show has so many interesting story lines within one episode and there are so many plot twists that will leave you sitting on the edge of your couch.. literally.
So I don't know about anyone else, but I will be sticking with the show and seeing where it goes from here.
