Oh My God... Yes! A Series of Extremely Relatable Circumstances

I just watched the first four episodes in a row and my only complaint is that they aren't long enough! There are plenty of female led animated series that exist. I love Yolo and was a fan of Tuca and Bertie. But there is something about OMG YES! That gives me just the right about of absolute stupid mixed with oddly genius that I've been craving! Sunny isn't likable and that's what I LOVE about her. She isn't trying to be! It's refreshing to see a female protagonist have a devil-may-care attitude. Ladi and Tulip add a great balance to her chaos. If all three were harsh, the show might be a bit difficult to stomach. But Tulips sweetness and Ladi's intelligence/action based way of moving about the world strikes a great balance. Some of the dialogue is a bit hard to understand so I would recommend using subtitles if your'e hearing isn't A-1 like mine. Otherwise, kickback and try to relax watching this wild show. You might be laughing to hard to do the latter.

My take as a woman in her 20s: It tries to be funny and relatable but it's only relatable if you're someone who blames their problems on other people, is selfish, is a bad friend, and has no aspirations in life.

The characters all do just that. They are toxic, and go around thinking only about themselves. They even comment on this and make jokes about it. They are all unhealthy because they have self-defeating attitudes and do nothing to help themselves or improve.

The women with purple hair and blue hair are cute, but that's all that's good about this show. It's poorly written and forgettable. Someone else listed it as cringey, perfect description.

It's soo good ! The vivid animation pulls you in before you realize you hilariously relate to the intricate short sub plots they're throwing at you. From childhood trauma, ironic friendship bonding , to controversial societal issues they introduce several hidden messages whether it be cultural, generational, or just plain across the board we're all participating in this matrix of a place how could any of this not also be reality. Very fun & purposeful while also keeping it light with the comedy. This is perfect for adult swim. Cant't wait to see more episodes & love that it's its own thing, so needed. What a solid addition to the adult swim line up !

It tries too hard to be random and chaotic. I usually love absurdist humor but I don't like the way this show does absurdist humor. Typically shows with absurdist humor like Regular Show start out very normal, esclatae then get very crazy. This show tries to jump right into very wild plots and its not fun. The title of the show is also pretty bad. Why is it called Oh My God... Yes! A Series of Extremely Relatable Circumstances? It doesn't tell you much about the show, the world, or the characters. I brought up Regular Show earlier in this post. The name Regular Show is very ironic but every episode begins with something very simple like Mordocaei and Rigby set up the chairs, then the plot ends up being very wild contradicting its name. Jumping right into the craziness just doesn't work as well in my opinion.

This is not worth it...at all. It's not even in the "so bad it's good" tier, it's unfunny, cringe-inducing and the animation and art look like a low-budget Mr. Pickles. Let me repeat that. "Low budget Mr. Pickles". The characters are unlikeable and the dialogue was written in less than 10 minutes while drunk on a rollercoaster, the only star this has is because the voice actresses did an acceptable job withe the trainwreck they were fiven. If you like good shows, don't watch this, if you like watching bad shows to laugh at them, don't watch it.

This show should be watched as a challenge, not entertainment.
