Resumen
Reviewers say 'The GOAT' offers a divisive experience with strong opinions. Many commend Daniel Tosh's hosting, appreciating his humor and satirical edge. The cast is often lauded for their entertaining personalities and the fun atmosphere they create. However, some critics argue the show lacks substance, pointing to weak challenges and unengaging contestants. The concept of parodying reality TV is generally appreciated, though execution is questioned. Overall, 'The GOAT' is viewed as an enjoyable yet flawed blend of comedy and competition.

I actually thought the show was quite an intriguing idea which left plenty on the table for additional seasons and refined gameplay. The cast was a great start and you could find a character among them to latch onto and root for. I think the star of it happened to be Daniel Tosh and his innate ability to bring wit to each scene. He brought his i dont care if this is inappropriate attitude to the set and they let him fly with it, which I think was a fantastic move by the shows creators - use your talent, and he was bringing it. I hope he comes back to host a 2nd season, we would certainly watch it. Definitely recommend!
The best part is that most of the contestants seem to believe that they might be the greatest of anything. For the audience it is yet another wonderful opportunity to witness people more desperate than a normal person. Lots of teeth bleaching, veneers and breast implants. In short, the decay of western civilization is officially here. At least Tosh is honest about his motivation. The man has an expensive house to take care of and they paid him to host! Tosh. O just might be the one good decision made by the producers. Remove this host and this show would be even more pathetic. It was a nice try to ride the small wave of semi interesting partial famous wannabes, but this attempt is a fail.
This show, like House of Villians, is MADE by its host. Joel McHale is hilarious, but Tosh easily tops him in quantity of actual laugh out loud moments.
I knew his old show, and had watched occasionally, but his improv spur of the moment stuff he constantly spits off the top of his head is killer! Sure, some is scripted/edited in, but this stuff is so rapid fire there's no way it's all scripted.
He's also completely comfortable looking ridiculous, and uses that somewhat physical humor, as well as self-deprecation masterfully!
The actual competion and reality part is uninteresting enough to me to just be a one time watch, but I'm actually going to re-watch this just to process all the laughs Tosh packs in each episode! Probably.

The show is poking fun at reality TV shows. What a fantastic concept and hilarious option to bring on Daniel Tosh to tie everything together. Tosh's unique brand of humor and sharp wit add an extra layer of satire that makes the show even more enjoyable. The writing is clever, the characters are delightfully exaggerated, and the parody is spot-on. It's refreshing to see a show that doesn't take itself too seriously while still delivering sharp commentary on the absurdity of reality TV. Each episode manages to surprise with its creative take on familiar reality show tropes, making the audience laugh and think simultaneously. The production values are high, and the attention to detail in mimicking the style and format of actual reality shows is impressive. This approach to comedy is both innovative and entertaining, showing the ridiculousness of reality TV while providing genuine laughs. I'll be watching this until the end and eagerly anticipating each new episode, as it continues to be a standout in the comedy genre. The show's ability to blend humor with insightful critique makes it a must-watch for fans of both comedy and reality TV.
The best show of people you've never heard of or haven't heard their name in a decade. Superb casting with classic Tosh satire. Awesome to see Teck still milking the teet of the reality genre. And if you enjoyed Tosh. O before, you'll love him even more after. The cast makes you want to go watch their shows. If you're a fan of any of the cast members you will love the new twist on their old personas. It's been a long time since I was rolling on the floor laughing. I'm not sure who I enjoy the most but Justin makes the grandest of entrances. Going to watch them all again today. If the creators are reading this, pure genius !! Bravo.. and not the channel.
