The first Brazilian telenovela to become a smash hit on streaming.
Production was temporarily put on hold in September 2022, due to Warner Bros. and Discovery + merging. Nevertheless, creator Raphael Montes went on writing all the episodes and had delivered the full series by the time it was finally green-lighted. Many actors dropped out of the cast during that hiatus, such as Daniel de Oliveira (replaced by Caio Blat ) and Alice Wegmann.
Creator Raphael Montes reportedly first had the idea for the story when he got home and saw his husband wearing a LED face mask. Thus, he decided to create a story about the beauty industry, particularly the world of plastic surgery.
This series' repercussion caused changes on the airing of Globo TV's Vale Tudo (2025). Globo has decided to make series' first six episodes available for free on their own streaming, Globoplay.
