’The Chosen’s Blessed Run on Streaming Is Coming to an End
Image
The Chosen has lost its top spot on Prime Video's Top 10 list after a strong run, falling to other series. Marvel star Chris Pratt boosted viewership by praising the series for its incredible production value. Despite some criticisms, creator Dallas Jenkins credits the show's success to its authenticity in portraying Jesus.

All good things must come to an end, and, after the multitude of trials and tribulations faced by its main character in the latest season, it would seem as though audiences are turning their backs on The Chosen’s Prime Video run — at least for now. The title has seemingly run out of fuel on the streamer’s Top 10 list, losing its coveted top position to other productions like The Summer I Turned Pretty and Countdown. Seeing as how the second half of the fifth season arrived on the platform more than a month ago at the end of June,...

'The Chosen's Creator Says Fans Need to Donate to Make the Season 6 Finale a Reality
Image
The Chosen’s Dallas Jenkins is once again asking fans to reach deep inside their pockets and offer what they can to fund the latest season of the series. Currently deep into shooting Season 6, the title’s creator, director, and co-writer is turning to his global audience for help in getting the finale up and running. We already knew that the episode in question would be a theatrical event, as it would play out perhaps the most recognizable story from the Bible — the crucifixion. According to Deseret News, the production is aiming for a staggering $30 million in donations to roll in over the next few weeks while filming completes. While audiences have chipped in to help previous seasons take off, the price tag on the standalone episode certainly isn’t a paltry sum. Still, Jenkins insists that it will all be worth it, referring to the upcoming “super-sized finale” as...

Dallas Jenkins Reveals How His Box Office Bomb Led to the Creation of ‘The Chosen’
Image
“It was born from failure.” Those were some of Dallas Jenkins’ first words in a column about his hit series The Chosen that was recently published in AARP. For those familiar with the title, it’s hard to imagine the word “failure” attached to it, as it’s one of the biggest hits that Prime Video has had on its roster in recent years. Even beyond its small-screen success, the production has reached viewers around the globe thanks to theatrical releases that have preceded each of the five seasons’ drops on streaming. And yet, Jenkins, who not only created the project but also serves as director and co-scribe, is the first to admit that The Chosen was not only far from his first choice of where he saw his filmmaking career going, but that he also had several stumbles along the way.

In his column, the creative says that he...

'The Chosen' Creator, 49, Reveals His "Come to Jesus" Moment That Helped Him Make the Biblical Series
Image
These days, Dallas Jenkins isn’t one to shy away from his background as a Christian. The Chosen creator has made a gargantuan hit for Prime Video thanks to his personal attachment and calling to bring Biblical scripture to life. Aside from the fan-favorite production, he’s also recently poured his time and energy into similar content, like the 2024 adaptation of the beloved novel The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, while the studio has given him the greenlight to pursue a new project titled Joseph of Egypt, which will fall in the same vein as The Chosen. But, Jenkins’ view of what his future in the industry should be like wasn’t always filled with stories from the Bible, as he recently told AARP that he had a very different route in mind.

Sharing his story of how his spiritual beliefs eventually placed him on a path to bringing faith-based stories...

Chris Pratt's Favorite Faith-Based TV Show Overtakes 'The Terminal List' on American Streaming Charts
Image
The Chosen recently scored a divine boost — and it came straight from Chris Pratt. The actor, known for action-heavy hits like The Terminal List, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Jurassic World, is now championing The Chosen as one of his favorite shows, praising it as “incredible” and declaring it “pop culture canon.”

And apparently, America agrees. In a fun twist, the faith-based drama has actually leapfrogged Pratt's big-budget show The Terminal List on Prime Video’s U.S. charts and is now sitting comfortably near the top — higher than Pratt’s own Navy Seal thriller, which had a brief resurgence after a trailer for its upcoming prequel Dark Wolf dropped last week.

Created by Dallas Jenkins, The Chosen tells the life of Jesus through the eyes of those who knew him best — the disciples, the followers, and even the skeptics. While faith-based media often gets dinged for low production values and heavy-handed messaging,...

'The Chosen' Star, 39, Reveals Why She Thinks Audiences Are Drawn to Her Character [Exclusive]
Image
Elizabeth Tabish has been with The Chosen since the very beginning. Her character, Mary Magdalene, appeared in the first episode of the premiere season all the way back in 2019. The installment, titled “I Have Called You by Name,” saw the debut of most of the main players that audiences have followed over the show’s five-season run. In the case of Tabish’s character, she is introduced as a woman named Lilith struggling with demonic possession until Jonathan Roumie’s Jesus reaches out, calls her by her true name, and casts the entity from her body. Over her arc, audiences have fallen in love with Mary Magdalene and find themselves drawn to her while she walks her faith journey.

We recently had the chance to exchange questions with Tabish and were eager to find out why she thought she’d grown into a fan favorite. The actress expressed that, when it comes down to it,...

The Faith-Based Hit Chris Pratt Called "Incredible Pop Culture Canon" Is a Global Streaming Sensation Once More

The Chosen just got a holy endorsement from one of Hollywood’s biggest stars — and it’s now sitting at the top of the Prime Video charts worldwide. Chris Pratt, best known for Guardians of the GalaxyandJurassic World, praised the series during a recent Instagram livestream with Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus on the show. Dallas Jenkins, 49, and ‘The Chosen’ Cast Prepare for the Crucifixion in New Season 6 Featurette
Image
Given that its entire premise is to follow the adult life of Jesus (Jonathan Roumie), anyone remotely familiar with the Bible knows where The Chosen is heading. The first five seasons were largely about the blossoming religious leader building up his following and gathering his disciples to his side. After the events that transpired in the final episode of the fifth season, which featured the notable Last Supper, audiences are preparing to launch off into the deep end with the next set of episodes which will make their way towards Jesus’ crucifixion. Series creator, co-writer, and director, Dallas Jenkins, hasn’t shied away from the heaviness that the next season will bring, but, thanks to a new behind-the-scenes sneak peek, we’re fully seeing the fallout of filming.

Thanks to recent comments made by series star, Roumie, we know that the team is about halfway done with the massive undertaking...

Supernatural Star’s New Action Series Dethroned on Streaming by Hit Jesus Drama
Image
Supernaturalmight have ended five years ago, but the show's popularity is still growing today. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to keep Jensen Ackles' new action show at the top of the charts.

Ackles stars in Prime Video's new crime drama show Countdown, which premiered on June 25. However, despite the high anticipation and Ackles' popularity, Countdown was panned by critics and hasn't made a big impact after its first three episodes. Ahead of the release of Episode 4, on June 30, Countdown failed to hold on to the first spots in the Top 10 overall on Prime Video, and was dethroned by the new adaptation We Were Liarsand the biblical television series The Chosen, FlixPatrol indicates.

Immediately after its release, Countdown rose on the charts and debuted in second place on Prime Video's Top 10. The show received negative reviews from the critics and currently holds an unfortunate 31% score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, it has over...

The Chosen Creator Gives Major Update On Filming Season 6's "Unprecedented" Upcoming Crucifixion Scene
Image
Dallas Jenkins, the creator of The Chosen, updated fans of the Biblical show about season 6's upcoming depiction of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (Jonathan Roumie), calling it "unprecedented." The Chosen season 5 ended on Sunday, and it set up some of the biggest moments in Jesus' life for The Chosen season 6 to depict. Season 5 ended with the Last Supper and Judas' (Luke Dimyan) betrayal of Jesus, so it's clear that The Chosen season 6 is ready to depict Jesus' crucifixion. As the show approaches the pivotal moment, Jenkins has offered some insight into what's in store.

In an interview with Variety, Dallas Jenkins said that he is currently in Italy to film the crucifixion scene for The Chosen season 6. Jenkins also noted that The Chosen will use the same filming location for Golgotha that was used in Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ in 2004. Additionally, when asked if he...

‘The Chosen’ Falls From Grace on Streaming Charts Despite New Episodes
Image
New episodes of The Chosen arrived on Prime Video on Sunday, and although the show debuted its first batch of Season 5 episodes in one of the top spots, it hasn’t continued this trend with the second drop. The Chosen is now sitting at #6 on Prime Video at the time of writing, falling several spots despite the release of Episodes 3-5. This is the opposite of what most fans were expecting to happen, as it seemed likely that the show would continue to climb as more of Season 5 becomes available to watch. However, this may very well be a temporary setback, and it’s possible thatThe Chosen could climb even to the top spot before the end of the week. The final three episodes premiere this Sunday, June 29.

The Chosen creator Dallas Jenkins is developing a new Biblical series with Amazon, widening the scope of religious stories for the studio. Amazon holds exclusive streaming rights and theatrical distribution rights to the religious series, with The Chosen season 5 having recently begun on Prime Video. The religious series was created by Jenkins through 5&2 Studios, which has a multi-year deal with Amazon involving their successful series. The Chosen Season 5: When & Where To Watch The New Episodes In The U.S. & Globally?
Image
The Chosen Season 5 (Photo Credit – Prime Video)

The Chosen, a crowd-backed drama series based on Jesus’ journey, is back for its fifth run. Created by Dallas Jenkins, the series first premiered in 2017 and rapidly acquired a global following. The most recent season started its U.S. rollout on June 15, 2025, with chapters being released in batches across June and July.

What Is The Chosen About?

The Chosen Season 5 picks up with Jesus heading into Jerusalem during Holy Week. He reaches the temple but finds it turned into a noisy marketplace instead of a sacred space, sparking tension with Caiaphas, the Jewish high priest. As Jesus continues to speak to crowds, the religious elite get more defensive.

They start plotting to stop him. The pressure grows, and a plan to capture him takes shape. Judas eventually agrees to help them find Jesus, leading to a turning point during the Passover gathering. That night,...

‘The Chosen’ Season 5 Overtakes Ben Affleck and Tom Cruise Amidst Holy Streaming Debut
Image
The first two episodes of The Chosen Season 5 are now streaming on Prime Video, and it didn’t take the hit religious series from Dallas Jenkins long to find streaming success. The Chosen is sitting in the third spot on Prime Video’s top 10 at the time of writing, sailing past Ben Affleck’s The Accountant and Tom Cruise’s Oblivion. It has not yet been able to overtake The Accountant 2, the sequel starring Jon Bernthal, which has been atop Prime Video streaming charts for weeks now. However, as more episodes of The Chosen Season 5 debut, it wouldn’t be surprising to see it claim the top spot. The next three episodes of The Chosen Season 5 will premiere on June 21, and the final three installments will debut on June 28.

The Chosen Season 5 began playing in theaters earlier this year, and similar to its Prime Video release schedule, the series was released in three parts.

“We’re Always Obsessed With Humanity”: Dallas Jenkins Reveals How ‘The Chosen’ Separates Itself From Other Biblical Productions
Image
By the time The Chosen arrived in 2019, the Biblical story of the life of Jesus had already been told numerous times over. In 2004, Mel Gibson made hand-over-fist at the box office with The Passion of the Christ, while years before, in 1988, Martin Scorsese took a swing at his own Biblical epic with The Last Temptation of Christ. And yet, the Prime Video project has taken on a life of its own, drawing in audiences from all walks of life around the globe. Recently speaking with The Direct, ahead of the title’s Season 5 premiere, The Chosen’s creator, director, and co-writer, Dallas Jenkins, revealed why he thought audiences are getting something completely different with his production and what sets it apart from the others that came before it.

At the center of it all, Jenkins believes the tales he and the team have so far broached have leaned into the character building of it all,...

One Piece: Elbaph May Completely Ditch Luffy’s Chosen One Trope With a Second Nika
Image
Ever since the Chosen One trope was introduced in the One Piece story, fans have had very complex reviews about Luffy’s character development. This Chosen One trope was embedded within the narrative when it was established that Luffy is indeed the reincarnation of Sun God Nika, who will bring freedom and liberation to the One Piece world.

While it was a decent development considering his role within the story as the main character of the series, some fans didn’t agree with it for a major reason. This reason revolved around Luffy’s identity as the most unique protagonist in the history of the Shonen genre, which made him stand out and, in extension, popular.

However, the Elbaph arc might have brought the biggest twist in Luffy’s development as the Chosen One in One Piece. The storyline has introduced that more than one Nika can exist within the One Piece universe.

’The Chosen’ Is Returning to Theaters for Season 6 Finale and Season 7 Premiere
Image
It seems that Dallas Jenkins has had a big change of heart when it comes to sharing release windows and dates for The Chosen. Today, Amazon MGM Studios and Jenkins’ 5&2 Studios have revealed that the Season 6 finale of the Biblical epic will arrive in cinemas on March 12, 2027. Covering the crucifixion of Jonathan Roumie’s Jesus, the episode won’t be your run-of-the-mill finale, as it will be the length of a feature film and will celebrate its unveiling exclusively in theaters. But wait, there’s more. Even though Jenkins has been vocal about not sharing too many details surrounding the next set of episodes to come, he’s already slated the show’s Season 7 return for March 31, 2028. Filming has been underway for just around one month on Season 6 of The Chosen, and we’re finally beginning to hear from the actors who are experiencing the day-to-day production of the Dallas Jenkins-created series. With Season 5 ending just after the infamous story of The Last Supper, those familiar with the story of Jesus (played in the series by Jonathan Roumie) will know what comes next — death and heartbreak. Teasing the emotions that audiences are bound to feel when the next part of the series eventually ends up on screens next year, Reza Diako, who appears in the production as the Apostle Philip, told The Christian Post,

“If you’re the kind that enjoys intensity, then I suppose you’re very excited for what’s coming. If you can’t handle it, then I’m so sorry, but it’s still going to happen. We know where the story is going.

‘The Chosen’ Season 6 Receives a Holy Update
Image
He has spoken. The Chosen creator, Dallas Jenkins, has once again opened up with some fresh updates about the highly-anticipated sixth season of the biblical series and, this time, it’s actually good news. We’ve known for a while that the next set of episodes won’t be arriving anytime soon, but with Season 5 set to arrive on Prime Video on June 15, following a financially profitable run in cinemas, fans at least have something to look forward to. Although no release date has been set for Season 6, Jenkins revealed during a livestream (via ScreenRant), that audiences can look forward to longer episodes.

Keeping his cards close to his chest, the show’s creator, director, and co-scribe teased the sixth season's impending arrival, sharing, “Season 6, the first six episodes, are going to be coming out sometime next year,” before backtracking, “It won’t be early next year.” Walking a fine...

‘The Chosen’s Dallas Jenkins Describes Season 6 Finale as a “Global Theatrical Event”
Image
The Chosen recently wrapped up all three installments of Season 5 in theaters, and although Last Supper - Part 3 finished its run as the lowest-grossing of the bunch, fans are still excited to see what creator Dallas Jenkins has in store next. Prime Video has already announced that the fifth season will begin streaming on the platform on June 15, but it looks like it’s going to be a while before The Chosen returns to the big screen. Jenkins recently took part in a Q&a to talk about the future of the franchise, and when asked about Season 6, he came right out of the gate with a release window for the first six episodes:

"So, season six, one thing I will clear up, because there's been some rumors in the past, here's what's happening. Season six, the first six episodes, are going to be coming out sometime next year. It won't be early next year…...

The Chosen Season 6 Release Window & Theatrical Plans Clarified By Franchise Creator
Image
The Chosen season 6 will have a very different release schedule compared to previous seasons. After earning its first major theatrical debut, The Chosen season 5 shattered records at the box office as viewers came in droves to see the episodes on the silver screen. The Chosen: Last Supper - Part 1, which was released in approximately 2,000 theaters, earned $11.7 million in its opening weekend and proved that this franchise has theatrical potential. With season 6 currently in development, another theatrical release is seemingly inevitable.

In a live Q&a for The Chosen, franchise creator Dallas Jenkins opened up about the producers' plans for the upcoming season. While he has always been "extremely transparent" about the direction of each release, he intends to be more reserved with these coming episodes. He believes the release schedules have given viewers unrealistic expectations, hurting the show's reception. He no longer intends to share the release window until it is finalized.

New Biblical Movie Crosses Major Global Box Office Milestone On 2025 Chart
Image
While they are not always popular in the mainstream, faith-based movies have the potential to do well at the box office. Some of these titles are overtly religious, such as the 2024 Alan Ritchson drama Ordinary Angels. Other titles that get looped in the faith-based subcategory are less overtly God-infused but still resonate with Christian messaging. One such success is Sound of Freedom, a 2023 movie about a government agent who attempts to rescue children from child traffickers. Sound of Freedom made a remarkable $250.5 million at the worldwide box office.

2025 has already been strong for Christian-centric works. Episodes of the Biblical series The Chosen: Last Supper were released in theaters and performed remarkably well, given that they were also slated to hit the small screen. These episodes ended up making just shy of $25 million worldwide, makingThe Chosen the no. 30 highest-grossing title at the 2025 box office. Now, another faith-based title is succeeding at the box office,...

The Chosen season 5 debuts explosive trailer, sets three-week release on Prime Video
Image
Earlier this week, we learned that the Prime Video streaming release date for The Chosen season 5 would be released very soon, and the series' creator Dallas Jenkins fulfilled that promise.

As announced on 5&2 Day, The Chosen season 5 premieres on Sunday, June 15 on Prime Video in the United States. Those in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sub-Saharan Africa, UK, and Latin America will have to wait a little bit longer to stream season 5 on Prime Video. In those territories, the latest season will begin streaming sometime in July, though the exact date hasn't been revealed.

If you were hoping to binge-watch the full season all at once, you will likely be disappointed. Rather than releasing all episodes of the Last Supper season at the same time, Prime Video will be dropping the season in increments across three weeks. The first two episodes drop on June 15, three more premiere on June 22, and the...

The Chosen Season 5 Gets Major Streaming Announcement
Image
The Chosen officially has a date for when Season 5's streaming release will be announced, but other streaming information has already been revealed. During The Chosen's latest Q&a live stream, showrunner and director Dallas Jenkins confirmed that Season 5's streaming date will be revealed during the show's annual 5&2 Day livestream taking place on Friday, May 2. But that's not all. The director also shared some changes to The Chosen's streaming (and a timeline!) that fans can expect.

Due to The Chosen's new contract with Amazon Prime Video, Season 5 of The Chosen will stream exclusively on Prime Video for 90 days. But while fans have to wait until May 2 for the exact premiere date, Dallas Jenkins confirmed it will be in June of 2025.

Furthermore, the episode release schedule on Prime Video will mirror Season 5's theatrical release. Therefore, over a three week period, three blocs of episodes will drop on...

With the final days of the life of Jesus Christ (Jonathan Roumie) now playing out on screens and Christians around the world deep into Holy Week, fans of The Chosen may be wondering where the story goes next. Well, if you’re not a member of the faith and truly don’t know, we’re here to tell you that you won’t believe your ears (especially if your name is Thomas). The good news is that your eyes will eventually see the continuation of the Biblical story thanks to Season 6 of the hit series, with filming now officially underway. Sharing an image to their X account, the folks behind the title’s social media presence recently wrote,

Kenneth Branagh, Uma Thurman, Oscar Isaac, and Roman Griffin Davis in El Rey de Reyes (2025)
‘The King of Kings’ Opens with $19.3M, Sets Record for Faith-Based Animation
Kenneth Branagh, Uma Thurman, Oscar Isaac, and Roman Griffin Davis in El Rey de Reyes (2025)
Three films centered on the life of Jesus Christ appeared in the domestic top ten over the weekend, led by the animated feature The King of Kings, which debuted with an estimated $19.3 million across 3,200 theaters. The release from Angel Studios ranks as the top opening ever for an animated faith-based film.

The film features Oscar Isaac as the voice of Jesus and was adapted from Charles Dickens’ The Life of Our Lord. Directed by Seong-ho Jang and co-written with Rob Edwards, The King of Kings follows a young boy who, through bedtime storytelling, imagines himself walking alongside Jesus and witnessing the key events of his life.

The voice cast includes Pierce Brosnan as Pontius Pilate, Kenneth Branagh as Charles Dickens, Uma Thurman as Catherine Dickens, Ben Kingsley as Caiaphas, Forest Whitaker as Peter, Mark Hamill as Herod, and Roman Griffith Davis as Walter Dickens. James Arnold Taylor provides additional voice roles,...

'The Chosen' Season 6 Won't Arrive For a Frustratingly Long Time
Image
The Chosen is on the road to Calvary — but fans will have to be patient before they see what comes next. While Season 5 of the cultural phenomenon is still playing out in theaters, audiences already know what’s looming on the horizon: the Crucifixion. Season 6 is expected to dive into the darkest and most emotionally intense chapter of Jesus’ story yet. But when exactly it arrives is still a mystery — and not the good kind.

According to series creator and director Dallas Jenkins, The Chosen has always been mapped out as a seven-season journey. “We plotted out seven seasons,” he previously said, “and planned where we were going from the start.” That means two more chapters are guaranteed — but the timeline just got longer. A lot longer.

At ChosenCon 2024 last September, Jenkins and the team revealed that Season 6 won’t premiere until 2027, with Season 7 to follow in 2028. Both seasons are...

‘The Chosen’ Eyes Epic Easter Box Office Haul After Passing the $100 Million Milestone
Image
Although we’re seeing a clear case of declining returns, The Chosen franchise has experienced unprecedented success at the box office. The television series, which has been screening episodes theatrically in collaboration with Fathom Entertainment, recently hit the $100 million mark in combined revenue. It’s currently showing its fifth season in three theatrical installments that have earned a combined total of over $35 million. This week marked the release of The Chosen: Last Supper - Part 3, which comes on the heels of Last Supper - Part 1 and Last Supper - Part 2.

It delivered the lowest opening weekend haul of the trilogy, which will be made available in its entirety during the upcoming Easter weekend. While the first part earned $11 million in its first three days of release, the second part grossed nearly $7 million. Last Supper - Part 3, on the other hand, made $5.8 million this weekend, becoming the first installment of the...

'The Chosen: Last Supper - Part 2' Pushes the Franchise Past a Holy Box Office Milestone
Image
As Easter draws closer, The Chosen franchise is looking to capitalize on the holiday with a massive box office performance. The fifth season of the biblical television show is now being screened in its entirety in theaters, in three separate installments. The first two chapters — The Chosen: Last Supper - Part 1 and The Chosen: Last Supper - Part 2 — have grossed a combined total of almost $30 million, and have successfully pushed the franchise past an unprecedented milestone. This number will only increase by next week, when all three parts will be available to watch either separately or together.

Last Supper - Part 1 has grossed almost $19 million so far, while Last Supper - Part 2, which debuted a week later, has now hit the $10 million mark. Combined, the franchise’s domestic box office haul has now passed the $100 million mark. This is an incredible result for what is still, primarily, a TV show.

'The Chosen’ Reaches a New Box Office Milestone With ‘Last Supper’
Image
The Chosen: Last Supper — Part 1 has hit another box office milestone as it prepares for its second weekend in theaters. Despite no international screenings, the first two episodes of The Chosen Season 5 began playing in theaters last weekend, and they have already collected $15 million at the domestic box office from only 1,644 screens, roughly half that of A Working Man and more than 2,000 less than Snow White. The Chosen: Last Supper — Part 1 kicked off this week at the box office in the third spot, and it has held firm, despite some shake-ups at the top between Jason Statham and Rachel Zegler’s aforementioned flicks. The Chosen has fallen less than $100,000 behind the second-place competitor each day, and it could easily claim another top spot this weekend.

The Chosen: Last Supper — Part 1 was one of seven new projects to debut in theaters this weekend, and it beat everything except A Working Man,...

'The Chosen' Franchise Aims for a Heavenly Milestone Thanks to 'Last Supper'
Image
Thanks to a blockbuster opening weekend haul this past weekend, when it took the number three spot on the domestic box office charts, The Chosen: Last Supper - Part 1 is set to pass a new milestone today. In doing so, the "film" will also push the franchise past a fantastic new mark at the box office. The Chosen: Last Supper - Part 1, as the name suggests, is the first installment of a larger story. It's technically a television show, but like past seasons, has been receiving theatrical releases in recent years.

Last Supper - Part 1will be followed by two more installments in the run-up to Easter, and it's likely that this latest string of releases hits the $50 million mark in cumulative box office revenue. By comparison, the fourth season generated over $30 million, while the third season grossed around $20 million. On its first Wednesday of release, Last Supper - Part...

Gwen Stefani Slammed By Fans On Social Media For Appearing To Support Tucker Carlson
Image
Gwen Stefani received an avalanche of backlash following misinterpreted praise for former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

On March 5, actor Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus Christ in the newly viral Chosen series, sat down for an interview with Carlson in which they discussed Roumie’s experience of playing the titular role in the series.

Stefani responded to the interview posting to X, “U r a powerful inspirational human. What an enlightening intelligent beautiful interview thank you for being u,” she continued.

Stefanis’ comments were intended for Roumie, with whom she has a personal connection – Roumie narrates the Catholic prayer mobile app Hallow, which Stefani previously promoted during the 2024 holiday season. However, many viewers interpreted her praise as being directed at the controversial Carlson, a staunch Donald Trump supporter at one point rumored to be Trump’s running mate.

Stefani’s politics...

Bleach: Tite Kubo Broke Free From the Shonen Curse With a Deceptively Simple Move That Kishimoto Never Could in Naruto
Image
The comparison between Bleach and Naruto is something that anime fans have been doing since the two series came out. And while these comparisons vary according to the different elements of the narrative, the one that is most prominent is the one between the two protagonists of the series, Kurosaki Ichigo and Naruto Uzumaki.

Bleach Anime Series | Credit: Studio Pierrot

Both of them are quite different as they have different strengths, abilities, and goals. But the one thing that draws parallels between the two characters is The Chosen One trope that is embedded within the development of both anime protagonists. However, Kubo might have managed to break free from this trope by using the simplest trick in the book.

He embraced The Chosen One trope and took it to a completely different level by making Ichigo a different type of main character. He took him away from all the hard...

"This Isn't 'Friends': 'The Chosen's Luke Dimyan On Why the Smash Hit Show Must End at Seven Seasons [Exclusive]
Image
In a world where some television shows just go on and on and on, well past their peak, The Chosen is thankfully taking a different approach. The show's guru, Dallas Jenkins, has always had an endgame in mind for the series, which looks back at the life of Jesus Christ and his followers, and for Luke Dimyan, who plays Judas Iscariot, that decision is part of what makes The Chosen unique. In an exclusive conversation with Collider, he said:...

The Chosen season 5 could release on streaming sooner than you think
Image
Just in time for the Easter holidays, a brand-new season of The Chosen is gearing up for release in March 2025, but we've also learned some exciting news about its streaming plans. The Chosen season 5, also subtitled as The Last Supper, begins rolling out in theaters in late March with its three-part theatrical run ending in April. When can fans start watching?

Earlier this year, Amazon MGM Studios struck a deal with The Chosen creator Dallas Jenkins and his production company 5&2 Studios to distribute the series in theaters for its final three seasons — seasons 5, 6, and 7 — and have an exclusive streaming window for each of those seasons on Prime Video. In addition, the past four seasons are also available on Prime Video.

Under this deal, The Chosen season 5 will begin its three-week theatrical run in March 2025. Following the third batch, all of the episodes will remain in theaters for fans to binge-watch if wanted.

Every Main Character's Fate At The End of Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Image
Across its seven seasons, Buffy the Vampire Slayer went from a show that people thought was a joke to becoming one of the most iconic fantasy series of all time. A reboot of the failed movie, Buffy dug deep into its horror roots while taking time to look deep into the human condition that few shows have ever done. Along the way, fans laughed, cried, and argued about every moment of the lives of the Slayer and her friends, affectionately called "The Scooby Gang" after the classic animated series.

22 years after the end of the show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is getting a reboot series with Sarah Michelle Gellar set to reprise the iconic titular role. While details about the Buffy reboot are still kept under wraps, fans are in for a big surprise. While the adventures of Buffy Summers and her team have continued in comics and novels, for most fans,...
