Kanguva

Kanguva is a historically overacted and confusing story, and star minus with scary and over makeup and larger then life action seens make you believe that you are wasting your time, all cast and crew are fail to believe us in their story. Above all they are started with roman emperors attack on their places with 25k solider but they are fighting with each other!!! What about the 25k solider who are coming to India to rule, who made them go back?? Why they are disappear? Editing is also very poor you just can't understand what is going on, no evidence of motive or reson why they boy is looking to meet Surya!!!

"Kanguva" is a visually impressive action film that unfortunately lacks the emotional depth and compelling villain needed to truly elevate it to greatness. While Suriya delivers an award-worthy performance and the action sequences are spectacular, the film falls short in its storytelling and character development.

Suriya's transformation and dedication to the role are truly commendable. However, the film's narrative feels somewhat disjointed and lacks a strong emotional core. The flashback sequences, while visually stunning, fail to establish a truly compelling villain or create a strong emotional connection with the audience. The lack of a formidable antagonist diminishes the impact of the hero's journey and the overall stakes of the film.

Despite its shortcomings, "Kanguva" is an entertaining action film with impressive visuals and a standout performance from Suriya. However, its lack of emotional depth and a compelling villain prevent it from reaching its full potential.

The image of the ideal actor Suriya is the award winner actor and the movie Kangua does not have any proper script.looks like a typical thriller and adventurous serial. The worst movie i saw till date. Exitement went wrong.waste of money ,time ,and hope.suggesting everyone to not to see this movie.and save your valuable time.always great actor Suriya but don't work with shiva sir.concept of the movie is not clear.also not having proper sequence.everytime past and present and again past again present it seems like a serials.hope so the team of the movie can understand the feelings of the common fan of Suriya and take it as a suggestion in a good way.good luck next time for the part 2 if coming....

Kanguva, a highly anticipated Tamil period fantasy film, has finally hit the screens, leaving a mixed bag of reactions. While the film boasts impressive visuals and commendable performances, it falters due to a lackluster screenplay and direction.

The film's strongest points lie in its visual effects and cinematography. The VFX team has outdone themselves, creating stunning and immersive battle sequences and mythical landscapes. Vetri Palanisamy's cinematography further enhances the film's grandeur, capturing the beauty of the period setting and the intensity of the action.

Suriya delivers a solid performance in dual roles, showcasing his versatility as an actor. However, while his performance is commendable, it doesn't quite reach the heights of his acclaimed role in Soorarai Pottru. Devi Sri Prasad's music is another highlight, though it can be overwhelming at times, particularly in the louder scenes.

Unfortunately, the film's biggest downfall is its direction by Siva. The screenplay is riddled with plot holes and inconsistencies, making it difficult to engage with the story. The first 30 minutes are particularly weak, lacking any real substance or excitement. The dialogues are often cringe-worthy and fail to leave a lasting impact.

Despite its flaws, Kanguva is still a visually stunning film that offers some entertaining moments. However, it's clear that the film's potential has been squandered due to poor direction and writing. While the technical aspects are top-notch, the overall experience is marred by a lack of substance and coherence.

As a Suriya fan , it's hard to accept Kanguva after 2.8 years of wait . This movie neither offers entertainment nor gives something grandeur. All the efforts are wasted . Siva is totally outdated and his ideas are crap. Suriya should invest his time with some young directors . Painful and torturous watch for a true fans. Never felt like this for any Suriya movies. Forgettable experience and have to wait for Karthik Subbraj movie(KS will not disappoint for sure). Siva should stay away from Kollywood instead of wasting producer's money and star's potential .Highly disappointed , never expected such outcome.

Tough time for S fans , we have to wait for another good movie. Till then can watch Soorarai Pottru , Jai Bhim , Vaaranam Ayiram range movies . Suriya can wait and do Vaadivaasal , even if it takes 3 years it will have a monstrous box office run.
