So here I am on a Sunday morning looking for a movie to delve into on this relaxing day. This movie popped up as something that amazon thought I would like. Hmmmmm... I have to say that I was drawn to it because as like the other 5 people watched this....we like Chico. That's it. All I can say is come on my people. We can do better than this. Thieves, rapist, strippers, murders and a little girl who needed her kidnapped mother. I'm sorry...this movie was horrible all the way around.

I'm going to just start this saying the premise of this film which the viewer figures out after about the first twenty minutes could be considered rather offensive/triggering. As far as the movie itself, there's not much plotline, just a situation the main character is involved in. There's no subtleness to the writing in terms of character, plot, or dialogue. The script is filled with stereotypically written black characters. The Black men are dumb, excessively violent and murderous criminals. The Black women simply lust after such types and are hypersexual figures. If a white person wrote it more than likely critics would have deemed them as racist. The pace isn't too bad but the tone of the movie is rather schizophrenic in how it jumps from attempting to be tense/thrilling in one scene to comical/whimsical the next with little effect on either side. The acting is below average. There's a number of unnecessary scenes included in the film that don't drive the plotline at all. The film's shot decent enough for this level production. The music score is rather generic. I couldn't recommend this film at all based on the subject matter in particular but even from a more general standpoint it's just not too good.

I am about 20 min and terrible is an understatement for this movie. The acting is horrible and certain points of the movie don't make sense. How there is no security at a strip club? I don't think I'm going to make it through this movie.

Thought this would be interesting but as soon as the plot goes into effect you realize how horrible this movie is. Terrible acting.. Terrible storyline... A waste of film. I wish I could give this trash a negative 100!

I love every scene , great action , great acting I don't know what the negative comment talking about but gin watch.

10/10 Adam was the best character in the movie in my opinion

It' has a bunch of suspense from beginning to end.

His love for her kept her safe and in the end he fulfilled his promise.

He protected her at all cost even if that meant betraying his friends .

It kept my attention the whole time. Perfectly played out and so raw. This movie has all feels that will keep you guessing.

The acting was amazing on all ends . The movie was a roller coaster with all the emotions and struggles. I would recommend this movie to anyone who believes in protecting the one they love..

Congrats to the Total cast and crew..Good movie..Gangster movie with a love twist..I enjoyed it...!!! Loved the plot, the photography was good also, I like the locations... Hats off to the Director and writer The actors did a great job, I felt the movie.. Its a classic gangster movie , so i expected violence, to establish the bad guys..movie going need for good old fashion, no holds barred entertainment. Most importantly BECAUSE I LOVE YOU is a love story in the greatest sense of the phrase. It is about unconditional love, between a man and a woman, friends, family and especially the love of a mother and her child. I have this movie now,..in my DVD collection.. Good movie..Gangster movie with a love twist..I enjoyed it...!!! I will tell anyone with the time to enjoy this movie....Thanks

I actually loved this movie. I can be honest the storyline in the beginning was a little off but as you get into and have a good understanding, it's a very good movie. I want to see more movies like this especially if they have a good twist to it. I would love to see a part 2💙
