Run away with La Luna in the new trailer for Kiss of the Spider Woman
Image
Kiss of the Spider Woman has a fascinating legacy that spans literature, cinema, and the stage. Originally written as a novel by Manual Puig, it was turned into a taboo-bursting 1985 film, which won star William Hurt an Oscar. Considered boundary-pushing in its frank depiction of homosexuality, it was later turned into a Tony Award-winning musical. Now it’s getting a lavish movie musical directed by Bill Condon. In addition to movies like Gods and Monsters, Condon also directed one of the better stage-to-screen adaptations, Dreamgirls, and has collected many accolades with a film that is said to have the grit and soul of the 1985 movie and the flash and spectacle of the play.

The new trailer for Kiss of the Spider Woman has arrived from Lionsgate and aims to whisk you away with its extravagant set pieces. The film stars Diego Luna, Tonatiuh and Jennifer Lopez. The official description from the press release reads,...

Kiss of the Spider Woman Trailer and Poster Debut

Roadside Attractions, Lionsgate, and Ld Entertainment have unveiled the new trailer and poster for Kiss of the Spider Woman, which is set to open in theaters on October 10, 2025.

Dreamgirls and Beauty and the Beast director Bill Condon returns to the movie musical in this dazzling Technicolor-hued fantasy. In the film, Valentín (Diego Luna), a political prisoner, shares a cell with Molina (Tonatiuh), a window dresser convicted of public indecency.

The two form an unlikely bond as Molina recounts the plot of a Hollywood musical starring his favorite silver screen diva, Ingrid Luna (Jennifer Lopez). Kiss of the Spider Woman is based on the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical hit.

Bill Condon‘s visionary new adaptation is based on the acclaimed 1976 novel Kiss of the Spider Woman by Argentinian writer Manuel Puig and the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical of the same name by the multiple Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally and composer...

Jennifer Lopez Goes Old-School Hollywood Glamor in 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' Trailer
Image
Roadside Attractions has just dropped the trailer for Kiss of the Spider Woman, Bill Condon’s vibrant new adaptation of the Tony-winning musical, starring Jennifer Lopez, Tonatiuh, and Diego Luna. In the trailer, Lopez — playing silver-screen icon Ingrid Luna — dazzles us with a radiant display of sheer star power. It's old fashioned movie making. From Condon, the acclaimed director of Dreamgirls and Beauty and the Beast, Kiss of the Spider Woman revives the grand tradition of movie musicals, bursting with vivid color and emotional sweep. Adapted from Manuel Puig’s 1976 novel and the Tony Award-winning musical by Terrence McNally, John Kander, and Fred Ebb, the story revolves around two cellmates — one a revolutionary,...

Jennifer Lopez Performs ‘Miracles’ in New ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ Trailer
Image
Oscar-winning filmmaker Bill Condon is back with “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” his latest movie musical starring a global music superstar playing the subject of public adoration.

An adaptation of the Tony-winning 1993 Kander and Ebb Broadway musical, which itself is an adaptation of the 1976 novel by Manuel Puig, stars Diego Luna as political prisoner Valentín, who is thrown into a cell with window dresser Molina (newcomer Tonatiuh.) To pass time, the latter recounts the story of his favorite Hollywood musical starring screen siren Ingrid Luna therefore juxtaposing the pair’s dreary reality inside a 1970s Argentinian prison with the Technicolor fantasy of Luna’s melodrama “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”

The film is the first musical adaptation Condon has both written and directed since “Dreamgirls” starring Beyoncé in 2006, which earned two Oscars. It had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2025, sparking measurable awards buzz for its stars, especially...

Matt Damon Produced A Near Perfect Oscar-Winning Movie With 96% On Rotten Tomatoes
Image
We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.

Matt Damon's best story idea led to his worst decision as an actor.

Damon has received two Academy Award nominations for Best Actor (one for "Good Will Hunting" and the other for "The Martian") and another for Best Supporting Actor (in "Invictus"), and was never seriously in the running to win any of them. Damon has it in him to win an acting Oscar, and may one day find the role that pulls together all of the peculiar, yet photogenic qualities that make him such a watchable actor.

Damon does have an Oscar, however, and it's for co-writing "Good Will Hunting" with Ben Affleck. He could've won a second Original Screenplay Oscar years later for "Manchester by the Sea," but he made two artistically astute decisions that ensured he'd have only one shot at taking home an Academy Award for this particular project.

The 10 Worst Matt Damon Movies Ranked
Image
We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.

Matt Damon isn't just a guy seemingly permanently attached to Ben Affleck. He's — with his long-time best bud — an Academy Award-winning screenwriter for "Good Will Hunting," with a Best Actor nomination for his performance as the down-on-his-luck math scholar. He's an activist and philanthropist. He's even got a good sense of humor, turning up in bizarre cameos in flicks like "Deadpool" and "Eurotrip," the latter letting him loose as a punk rocker with one good tune in one of the best running gags in comedy.

A steady worker since the '90s, Damon remains one of Hollywood's best and most bankable. At the time of writing, we're less than a year away from watching his turn as Odysseus in Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey," a film so anticipated that theaters are already selling seats. But not everything about Matt Damon is perfect.

12 Years Later, Matt Damon's Forgotten ‘Snowpiercer’ Replacement 'Elysium' Resurfaces on Streaming
Image
Matt Damon is currently hard at work filming The Odyssey, the next film from Christopher Nolan, but 12 years ago, he starred in a twisty sci-fi film that has resurrected on streaming charts. Damon stars alongside Diego Luna (Andor) and Jodie Foster (The Silence of the Lambs) in Elysium, the 2013 film set in the year 2154 during a time when wealthy people live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population struggles to scrape by on a dying Earth. Elysium is streaming on Rakuten TV globally, where it’s become one of the most popular movies for the streamer in several countries, including Albania and Serbia. The film earned scores of 64% from critics and 58% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, but it grossed a whopping $286 million globally against a $115 million budget.

Elysium is, tragically, not streaming anywhere in the United States, but the film is available to rent on Prime...

Jennifer Lopez Shines in Glamorous New Look at 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' Musical Adaptation [Exclusive]
Image
As part of Collider's Exclusive Preview event, bringing our readers the first and best looks at the year's upcoming hits, we are thrilled to exclusively debut a glamorous new image from Kiss of the Spider Woman, Bill Condon’s vibrant new adaptation of the Tony-winning musical, starring Jennifer Lopez, Tonatiuh, and Diego Luna. The reflection behind them teases Lopez’s duality in the film — equal parts fantasy and survival instinct, as imagined through Molina’s escapist lens.

‘A Quiet Place 3’ Sets July 2027 Release Date, John Krasinski Returns as Director
Image
Shhhh.

John Krasinski is returning as the director, writer and producer of “A Quiet Place Part III.”

The cast is not confirmed at this time, so it’s unclear if Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds, who co-starred with Krasinski in the first film, will return. If you don’t know what happens to Krasinski’s character, we won’t spoil it, but don’t expect a family reunion.

Plot details of the sequel are being kept under wraps, but we’re going out on a limb to guess that they involve alien creatures with very sharp hearing, and human beings who have to evade them on tiptoe while using their inside voices.

Paramount Pictures will release “A Quiet Place Part III” in theaters on July 9, 2027. Krasinski and Allyson Seeger’s Sunday Night Productions, which has a first-look deal with the studio, is producing along with Platinum Dunes.

Krasinski...

Matt Damon's $334M Controversial Sci-Fi Epic Movie Is Now Hitting Streaming Charts 9 Years Later
Image
Matt Damon is one of the most bankable stars and highest-grossing actors of all time. He rose to stardom in 1997 with Good Will Hunting, a film he co-wrote and starred in alongside his lifelong friend Ben Affleck. Their work earned them an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, while Damon was also nominated for Best Actor, launching him into Hollywood's firmament.

From there, Damon quickly became a leading man with standout roles in The Talented Mr. Ripley, the Jason Bourne series, and Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's trilogy. He earned additional Oscar nominations for Invictus and The Martian. He's also starred in Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan, Martin Scorsese's The Departed, and Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, the last of which is Damon's highest-grossing film to date at $975 million.

Lead and Supporting and Guest Acting Emmy trifecta: Kathy Bates and Uzo Aduba could be next to join exclusive club
Image
Every year, the Television Academy bestows Emmy Awards for lead, supporting, and guest acting performances, depending on screen time and/or eligibility factors like episode count. It's quite rare for someone to win in all three categories throughout their careers — but not impossible.

At the 2025 Emmys, Best Drama Actress nominee Kathy Bates (Matlock) and Best Comedy Actress nominee Uzo Aduba (The Residence) could join the esteemed list that includes some truly iconic television personalities.

Bates, our predictions frontrunner for CBS' reimagined Matlock, previously won in supporting for the limited series American Horror Story: Coven (2014) and in guest for the comedy series Two and a Half Men (2012). Aduba, currently ranked fifth for the recently canceled The Residence, is a double champion in supporting for the limited series Mrs. America (2020) and the drama series Orange Is the New Black (2015), plus she won in guest for the latter when it was classified as...

NCIS: Origin’s Lala Problem: Why There Is Only One Way Forward
Image
We’re facing some conflicting feelings when it comes to NCIS: Origins.

While it took Lala a minute to find her footing on the series, she eventually did. She’s been the beating heart of the team, often managing to challenge and hold her own against the men of Nis. And she’s done so in a time when navigating the testosterone-laden world was remarkably hard.

What’s stuck with us since the premiere is that this is the story of “her,” referring to Lala. And the season concluded with her in dire straits. But what’s next?

(Erik Voake/CBS )

After watching NCIS: Origins Season 1 Episode 18, they knocked the wind out of us with a heartwrenching cliffhanger that saw our girl Lala Dominguez unconscious, hanging upside down in her car after a horrific accident.

And the ending, as it aligned with Gibbs’ voiceover, implied that she very well could be gone.

A ‘Scandal’ Alum Is Zachary Quinto’s New Adversary in ‘Brilliant Minds’ Season 2
Image
One of NBC’s top shows from 2024, Brilliant Minds, has cast Bellamy Young for a recurring guest star role. The Emmy-winning actress, best known for her commanding performance as First Lady-cum-President Mellie Grant on ABC’s Scandal, and by procedural lovers for her recurring role on Criminal Minds, has officially boarded the series opposite lead Zachary Quinto (American Horror Story). Initially introduced to audiences as part of NBC’s fall lineup for 2024, the show has since become a fan favourite while also securing favourable reviews from critics.

Per Variety, the 55-year-old actress will play Dr. Amelia Frederick, the clinical director at Hudson Oaks, a long-term mental healthcare facility. Described as someone “well-acquainted with the woes of the mental healthcare system,” Dr. Frederick is a seasoned but idealistic professional. Despite her years in the trenches, she’s “not yet jaded”, a rare disposition in the world of institutional psychiatry. From all indications,...

Matt Damon's Controversial Oil Drama Is A Must-Watch For Landman Fans
Image
Taylor Sheridan's streaming empire expanded late last year when "Landman" (which he created with Christian Wallace) premiered on Paramount+. The drama stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, a petroleum landman for an energy company looking to dominate the oilfields of West Texas. As he's demonstrated throughout his career with "Yellowstone" and its spinoffs, Sheridan has a nighttime soap writer's love for big rural business and the big families that run them, and his sizable fan base can't get enough of the "Dallas"-esque power struggles and betrayals that come with this big money territory.

"Landman" was an instant hit, which was great news for Sheridan, but the fervor the show generated has left fans impatiently awaiting Season 2. Though they can take heart in knowing that production started on the new season last April, Paramount+ has yet to announce when the next round of episodes will air. Hopefully, the...

Young Fathers at an event for T2: Trainspotting (2017)
Young Fathers Rewrite the Apocalypse With 28 Years Later Score
Young Fathers at an event for T2: Trainspotting (2017)
Mercury Prize-winning trio Young Fathers have stepped from indie stages to the scoring booth with the release of their 24-track soundtrack for 28 Years Later, Danny Boyle’s long-gestating sequel to his genre-defining 2002 zombie thriller 28 Days Later

. The Scottish group’s brooding mix of choral chants, lo-fi beats and serrated synths marks the first time Boyle has entrusted a full feature score to artists who, as he puts it, had “never done a movie before — a huge risk, but our instinct was to go to new places”.

Boyle’s gamble reflects a wider creative pivot: while John Murphy’s adrenaline-soaked cues helped etch the original film into pop-culture memory, the director says he wanted a sound “fresh and different” to match a world three decades deeper into viral collapse. Young Fathers were already on his radar after their songs powered key moments in T2 Trainspotting and, according to the filmmaker,...

Chicago Pd Season 12 Episode 19 Confirms Toya Turner’s Kiana Is the Gift That Keeps Giving
Image
At the risk of redundancy, Chicago Pd has struck gold with Kiana Cook this season.

It’s been a long while since this series has successfully fleshed out a character so well without necessarily distracting the rest of the show or characters or disrupting everything.

While Kiana had some hiccups during Chicago Pd Season 12 Episode 19, it also served as a strong, insightful peek into the character while simultaneously solving an interesting case.

(Elizabeth Sisson/NBC) Natalia del Riego Was the Ultimate Scene Stealer

While I’ll happily get into the Kiana of it all, since it was one hell of an episode for her, I have to give some proper due to Promised Land‘s Natalia del Riego, who played Ruby.

She was electric onscreen, and I appreciate a guest star who milks their screentime for all it’s worth.

One thing Chicago Pd Season 12 has lucked out with is...

A Television Writer Wonders: Is Writing for TV Over?
Image
The first writers’ room I ever worked in was considered freakishly small at the time. There were seven writers, a writers’ assistant, a script coordinator, a writers’ Pa, and a phalanx of personal assistants, which was the category I fell into.

Zipped into my bright floral Topshop shift dresses and vibrating with Trader Joe’s Powerberries, I leapt at any opportunity to sub for the writers’ assistant as note taker. Behind the writers’ room iMac, I tried and failed not to laugh too hard at everyone’s jokes, awed by how plot was broken and shaped in between zingy bouts of one-upmanship.

Every morning as I walked past a twee little set of Pluto’s paw prints on my way to work, I had a sense of confirmation that felt borderline delirious. My feet were on the path, so all I needed to do now was work hard for a while,...

Jennifer Lopez Musical ‘Kiss Of The Spider Woman’ To Tempt International Buyers At EFM For AGC
Image
Exclusive: While it continues to stalk a U.S. buyer, Jennifer Lopez’ Sundance musical-drama Kiss Of The Spider Woman will be tempting international buyers at next week’s EFM for Stuart Ford’s AGC.

AGC will screen the Bill Condon-produced film privately for buyers in Berlin where it’ll be among the bigger-budget projects available. WME and CAA Media Finance are co-repping U.S. rights.

Diego Luna (Andor) and Tonatiuh (Promised Land) star with global icon Lopez (Hustlers), who, along with Condon and Diego Luna, also executive produce. Pic is based on the acclaimed 1976 novel Kiss of the Spider Woman by Argentinian writer Manuel Puig and the Tony-winning Broadway musical of the same name by the multiple Tony-winning playwright Terrence McNally and composer/lyricist team John Kander and Fred Ebb.

The synopsis reads: “Argentina, 1983. With the country’s military dictatorship waging a brutal war against its political opponents,...

NCIS: Origins Season 1 Episode 11 Is Making Good on Its Namesake with Flashbacks into Mike’s Past and His Undying Love for His Boots
Image
I guess it’s true that the boots make the man, and NCIS: Origins has got one hell of a man in Mike Franks. Are we still sure Gibbs is the protagonist of this series?

It seems like the show is doing the smart thing and giving audiences what they want, and that’s more of fan-favorite Mike Franks. Can you blame us? The mustache alone makes the character iconic.

Still, as far as episodes go, this was probably the weakest one of NCIS: Origins. I’m not saying it was bad, but this one was light on the drama compared to earlier episodes.

(Sonja Flemming/CBS)

Also, what is the main plot of the season? Now that we’re well past Gibbs getting revenge for his murdered family, what’s the over-arching plot?

There is still half of NCIS: Origins Season 1 left with no general direction.

The Look into...

Jennifer Lopez Tears Up, Bill Condon Gets Political at Electric ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ Sundance Debut
Image
Oscar-winning Sundance Film Festival veteran Bill Condon returned to Park City to present the world premiere of his new movie musical, Kiss of the Spider Woman, at Eccles Center Theatre on Sunday night. When it was over and all the credits had rolled, his star Jennifer Lopez was moved to tears, the capacity crowd delivered two standing ovations and a star was born thanks to a revelatory turn from Tonatiuh.

Considering the pedigree of its filmmaker — Condon previously directed musicals Dreamgirls and Beauty and the Beast and wrote the Oscar-winning Chicago — and its global superstar who plays dual roles including the title character, Spider Woman was the most anticipated debut of Sundance this year. In his review, The Hollywood Reporter‘s chief film critic David Rooney calls it one of Lopez’s best roles of her decades-long career.

Lopez, who skipped snow boots and sweaters for her festival debut, hit...

‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ Review: Jennifer Lopez Is an Out-of-this-World Diva in a Musical Movie That Struggles to Land Back on Earth
Image
Jennifer Lopez is not one of those actresses who disappears into a role. For one, she’s too famous to allow the audience to separate artist from character entirely. Often, those characters, whether Selena or in last year’s “Unstoppable” as a sports mom, are extensions of her persona, astral projections of her stature as a global pop superstar into a fantasy movie world that depends on her song-and-dance gifts. For another, a Jennifer Lopez joint is always more about her presence — her name on the marquee, her face under the big bright lights — than her skills in vanishing inside a character.

Writer/director Bill Condon’s “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” a new screen version of the John Kander and Fred Ebb Broadway musical itself inspired by Manuel Puig’s novel and Héctor Babenco’s 1985 Oscar winner, could do no better casting than Lopez as Ingrid Luna, a fictional...

January 30 Brings Harrowing News for Fans of 'The Chosen'
Image
There's sad news for fans of The Chosen on January 30 as the blessed series is departing Prime Video for the Promised Land. It's fair to say the show has grown into a cultural phenomenon, drawing acclaim for the way it has humanised the life of Jesus Christ and his disciples but, while the news of the removal from Prime Video is a blow, the good news is there's still plenty to look forward to. Now, looking ahead, The Chosen has a big year to come — and a big week to portray.

‘Safe House’ Team Talks ‘Suspenseful’ Goteborg Opener as TrustNordisk Debuts Trailer: ‘Part of History That Needs to Be Told’ (Exclusive)
Image
Based on true events, Göteborg opening film “Safe House” – about a group of people trying to survive in a hospital in conflict-torn Bangui in 2013 – could be a harrowing watch. But lead actor Kristine Kujath Thorp found hope in the story.

“What really stuck with me was that even though the world is a very complicated place, most people want good, they want love and to live in peace. It’s just a few bloody bastards at the top. If only a few men can do such harm, think of what we could do if we weren’t so indifferent and stood together,” she told Variety.

Directed by Eirik Svensson, “Safe House” also features Alexander Karim, Bibi Tanga, Alma Pöysti, Tracy Gotoas and Mattis Herman Nyquist. Produced by Fantefilm, it’s sold by Trust Nordisk, which has shared the trailer in exclusivity with Variety.

Kristine Kujath Thorp’s headstrong character was inspired by Lindis Hurum,...

Sheriff Country Set Photos Reveal First Look At Mickey & Sharon's Return As Filming Begins On Fire Country Spinoff
Image
Sheriff Country gets a big update, as lead star Morena Baccarin shares photos from the set. The first Fire Country spinoff will see Baccarin reprise the role of Mickey Fox, the step-sister of Sharon (Diane Farr) and a Sheriff's Sergeant. Although she has only appeared in a single episode of the main series so far, Mickey will soon step into the spotlight.

Baccarin shared some photos from the set of Sheriff Country, showing the Deadpool & Wolverine star standing and posing with Farr. The photos also show the dark exterior, with the two actors seemingly filming in the woods. It may bring to mind a scene from Baccarin's appearance in Fire Country, with Mickey and Sharon running in the woods. The caption, in any case, reads: “TV sisters and more!!! Can’t wait to see what’s coming for us!

Tierra prometida (2012)
Film Review: Promised Land (2024) by Masashi Iijima
Tierra prometida (2012)
The Matagi are traditional hunter communities in Japan, known for their deep connection with nature, sustainable hunting practices, and unique cultural heritage. They originated in the mountainous regions of northern Japan, particularly in the Tohoku and Hokkaido areas. The Matagi have historically relied on hunting as a way of life, primarily targeting animals such as bears, deer, and rabbits. At the same time, their existence remains unknown out of the borders of Japan, which is probably one of the reasons Masashi Iijima chose them as his theme of his debut feature, which is based on the homonymous novel by Kazuichi Iijima.

The story takes place in 1983, in the village of Hibara, located deep within the mountains of Yamagata Prefecture in northern Japan. In this place, the traditions of the matagi remain strong. When the snow begins to thaw, the men follow custom and put their occupations aside to head into the mountains.

NCIS: Origins Season 1 Episode 9 Review: Vivo o Muerto
Image
All right, everyone can pick their jaws off of the floor. We wanted some answers, and NCIS: Origins threw us the absolute best curve balls.

For one, we finally know how Lala’s story is entangled with Gibbs’s. And we really got some answers about where things were headed regarding Gibbs’ revenge. That’s all the subtlety I had left in me.

I’m just going to say it now: this was by far the best episode of NCIS: Origins. Any time a show can make me audibly gasp, it’s a win in my book.

(Sonja Flemming/CBS)

This was such a heavy episode, but at least Kleenex wasn’t required to make it through. Just when we thought NCIS: Origins was going to zig, it zagged.

If you’re anything like this TV Fanatic, you were absolutely floored by the ending of “Vivo o Muerto.” We’ll...

NCIS: Origins Season 1 Episode 8 Review: Sick As Our Secrets
Image
One of these days, we will make it through an episode of NCIS: Origins without tearing up. Until that day, keep your Kleenex auto-delivery going.

Holy crap, that was quite the deep dive into parts of Randy previously unknown. Is it me, or does every Nis team member seem to be struggling with one personal issue after another?

NCIS: Origins has a firm grip on emotionally intelligent tough guys. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many gun-toting male characters cry, and I love it.

(Erik Voake/CBS)

In all seriousness, NCIS: Origins is knocking it out of the park in the storytelling department.

While some viewers don’t think the series feels like an NCIS series, everyone agrees it’s still a great show.

CAA Signs ‘Kiss of the Spider-Woman’ Star Tonatiuh (Exclusive)
Image
Tonatiuh has signed with CAA.

Tonatiuh recently wrapped filming the lead role of Molina in “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” directed by Bill Condon, opposite Jennifer Lopez and Diego Luna.

The film, produced by Artists Equity and Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions, is based on Manuel Puig’s critically acclaimed and bestselling 1976 novel. “Kiss of the Spider Woman is set in an Argentinian prison in 1981. Lopez stars as the titular role, a fantasy woman named Aurora created by Luis Molina (Tonatiuh), a queer window dresser serving an eight-year sentence for allegedly corrupting a minor. To escape the horrors of his imprisonment, Molina imagines movies starring Aurora as a classic silver screen diva, including a role of the spider woman, who kills her prey with a kiss. Molina forms an unlikely bond with his cellmate, a Marxist, Valentin Arregui Paz (Luna).

“It’s a very special musical,” Lopez told Variety in May.

NCIS: Origins Season 1 Episode 6 Review: Incognito
Image
Well, ladies and gents, I’d say Christmas came early, but I’m still trying to figure out what exactly NCIS: Origins gave audiences. We thought we were getting answers but were left with questions.

Truthfully, the case in this episode was a particularly difficult one to follow. If I have it right, a guy who worked for the government was tricked into giving away military weapon schematics.

However, the actual plot of NCIS: Origins was almost entirely about Special Agent Lala Dominguez. It only took six episodes, but we finally got some insight into the character.

(Erik Voake/CBS)

However, that insight came with burning questions that will likely stay with viewers until the series provides answers.

The first is, what the hell is going on with Lala?

NCIS Origins Season 1 Episode 6 Spoilers: There’s A New Mr. & Mrs. Smith In Town
Image
How do you take an already ridiculously attractive cast like the stars of NCIS: Origins and make them even shinier? Throw them into formal wear and send them out for a night on the town.

That’s what “Incognito” is serving viewers in its promo. However, the main thing to take away is the clear spotlight on Special Agent Lala Dominguez.

Since the start of NCIS: Origins, fans have been eagerly awaiting to see when Lala and Gibbs’s stories would, shall we say, entangle. Her character also hasn’t been developed nearly as much as others.

(Erik Voake/CBS)

Hopefully, now halfway through the premiere season of NCIS: Origins, the writers will connect the dots and explain how this is also “the story of her.” I can still hear Mark Harmon.
