Like a Schindler's List, and even better

You don't have to be Jewish to appreciate the WWII drama in this movie. Despite the title, there's nothing joyful about the events portrayed. It's all about how people react under unspeakable circumstances, and the cast does an excellent job of reflecting each character's transformation and hidden heroism.

Every moment of this movie is captivating, and it's a shame that it hasn't received an Academy Award nomination yet. Although the 2023 winners were doubtful IMHO, they should not receive as much publicity as this historical drama, Pravednik, based on true events.

The stories of the Righteous Among the Nations are so unique that every notable participant deserves their own story-based film. I hope to see more movies from this director and author on the big screen, and I want to thank them for their incredibly professional job.
