While on a trip to Thailand, two friends become "trapped in an underwater cave system with a bull shark. Old tensions and power struggles resurface as they fight to survive."

Honestly, it's not the most original of storylines. It sounds very similar to 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, which followed teen girls swimming into sunken Mayan ruins and getting trapped within the underwater labyrinth of caves while surrounded by sharks. But I'm willing to give Devil's Mouth a chance, if only because Newton usually picks pretty good scripts.

Will Forte is grateful that his film Coyote Vs Acme has been saved.

If you didn’t know, the movie was fully filmed and in the post-production phase ahead of a release, when Warner Bros. Discovery decided to scrap the movie completely in November 2023. However, in March 2025, Ketchup Entertainment acquired the film for theatrical release.

Now, Will, who plays Wile E. Coyote’s lawyer in the movie, is reacting to the news.

A few weeks after Coyote vs. Acme was officially saved by Ketchup Entertainment and is headed to theaters, star Will Forte is still in shock.

The Looney Tunes film, featuring Forte and John Cena opposite an animated Wile E. Coyote, became the most talked about movie in Hollywood in late 2023 when The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Warner Bros. intended to scrap the movie as part of a $115 million writedown. It appeared it would never be released, but a social media campaign to save the project helped lead to an acquisition deal between Ketchup and Warners for the worldwide rights.

At the Los Angeles premiere of his new show The Four Seasons on Thursday, Forte told THR that “words cannot describe” how he’s feeling about the movie’s changed fate.

Directed by Hotel Transylvania's Genndy Tartakovsky, Fixed is a 2D-animated adventure about a bloodhound who makes a bid for escape when he learns he’s about to be neutered.
