This movie feels like a complete movie although you only get 23 minutes. The necessary gaps and jumps in de story are not distracting. What is being shown suffices.

The meta remarks in the movie could be improved though. For example the remark about time at the end of the film.

The best part of the film is revealed in the last scene. It creates the impression that you can live your life as you might imagine it.

I really loved the music in the film.

Filmed in the region around Cap Negre this short was a winner. The sheer beauty of the surroundings draw the viewer in and the attractiveness of the actors was a bonus.

We live in the imagination of Louis as he meets Tommy and Melanie and develops a relationship with them. His writer's block vanquished, he writes his novel based on his days with the couple both together and singly.

We find out that we have been watching the creative process and not reality. The film is deft in the way it shows the twist. But we also see that shirt in the end fluttering at the back of the car.

I also loved the way that, although filmed just a few years ago, it portrayed a world of typewriters and not computers, landline phones and not mobiles. That added to its charm.
