Showboys

For those who've sat glassy-eyed in front of the computer, watching eight-minute YouTube videos friends claim are absolutely hilarious, take note: this ain't no zero-budget film shot on a Flip camera. Further, it ain't likely to make you feel you've cheated yourself out of another few minutes of life. "Showboys" is a well-executed snapshot of the lives of those wacky guys who live in the apartment down the hall. You know, the room from which strange thumps and bangs, yells and smells occasionally emanate? Right, THOSE guys. If you've always wondered what they were doing in there, and what it was that could get the apartment manager so riled so often, now's your chance to find out. Oh, and thankfully, the movie really is hilarious. So... while you tell your friends, I'm heading out to the corner liquor store so's I can grab the latest issue of Showboys.
