Better than a lot of the stuff on Hulu.

The acting is good, the cinematography is good, the story is good...unfortunately it doesn't gel well and it's hard to discern why. The pacing seems a little slow. And there are a little things which seem to betray it, like at the beginning, the guy is on the phone but he's just sitting there. Who actually just sits upright and talks on a phone? It felt unnatural to me; most people, while on the phone, are walking around the kitchen, flipping channels on a TV, picking their noses...something.

What's awesome about this movie is the shot of the Deftones "Back to School" poster above the bed. Deftones!!!

The only thing I liked about this film was the photography. Story, acting, sound quality, and music were second rate. Which is a shame since I think something could have been done with the concept.

The fault, in my view, is that the writing results in a slow-paced story with stilted dialog. Up until mid-film there were numerous throw- away scenes and dialogs that did nothing to advance the plot or even develop characters convincingly. And even with these bits it's still a pretty short film.

I think these actors deserved better. One scene that stretched credibility was the new sheriff firing her gun into the air to break up a bar fight. This wouldn't be condoned anywhere nowadays.

This was so close to being such an awesome movie, then it ended. What happened, besides one friend killed his wife and 2 of his 3 best friends. What happens to the main character does he go to jail for life, or does it get worked out, does the killer ever get caught and who was the sheriffs hometown husband it never gave up the info. Plus shes turning her wedding ring like shes in on it. Such a waste this film could have been rocking start to finish then it just ends. Better writing and ending. Characters were awesome.
