Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In

In the vein of such "creature feature" programs Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In is reminiscent of Michigan-area favorites such as Sir Graves Ghastley, The Ghoul and Count Scary.

The production isn't top notch nor is the acting but that is 90% of it's charm.

With television programming being too nationalized, sterile and mostly realty show-based. It's nice to see a show with local flavor.

And their presentation of B-horror movies is creative. With the sound effects and graphics that are integrated into the films they make movies such as "Teenage Zombies" fun to watch.

The Chiller Drive-In is started to gain some steam and is being shown in other markets. It is my personal hope that this team doesn't allow new fame to change their format.

I'll be watching every Saturday at midnight!

I had never heard of "Wolf Man Mac's Chiller Drive In" until recently when cruising the RTV channels lineup on my cable DVR. I saw the title and set record. I was not disappointed. It is perfectly tacky and silly...down to earth, yet not over-compensating. I grew up a child of the 80s and I remember watching some of the greatest B movies during the mid/late 70s when I had to beg and plead to watch the stuff. Now days, TV is just plain awful. The hosted creep shows, sci-fis, & thrillers are all gone to the way of garbage TV and infomercials, aka "paid programming" I am glad that Wolf Man Mac's Chiller mad it beyond its local origins and found its way to my local cable lineup -on the other side of the country! I will be watching every weekend now! I hope that they continue this great program, it would be a shame not too. Check RTV channel for listings.
