This one's a little better although still stuck in a minor rut. The car peril scene adds something new and the twist at the climax is a pretty good one. With just a few episodes left it'll be interesting to see what they make of it now.
The full-throttle approach of director is impressive. There isn't a dull or dumb moment in this episode. The result is an full contact action that is -- Reacher's and Conklin's persuasive performances aside -- as weightless and inconsequential as a musical. And at the moment every bit as welcome, large scale fake money laundry does keeps you in a state of nervous excitation from the opening shot to the fade-out and has a thread of deadpan humor. Reacher packs enough firepower into episode to please the summer action fan. A lean, deftly shot, well-acted, weirdly retro action. Admirations to all cast and crew..!?
So many of these police dramas give too much credit to the abilities of the bad guys. I know it is all fiction but the evil network seems a bit too efficient. They can operate on a moment's notice and infiltrate without missing a beat. With that one complaint, it is what it is, so strap on your seat belts. The concluding scene of Episode 5 really caught me by surprise. The questions now are really fun. Is Mr. Big someone we already have met? Laws of fiction say there should not be a new major character at this point.
So many surprises.
Great acting, good continuation of the characters and development of some new ones.
Made me gasp, smile, and laugh.
I would defo recommend this show to a friend.

Alright sports fans, we're officially rounding second and heading for third, and that means the time for plot filler is (hopefully) over. Now it's time to raise the stakes. With "No Apologies", 'Reacher' does just that.
After a few episodes that sort of, to put it politely, meandered, "No Apologies" finally has plot consequence. There are twists and surprises and a growing sense of unease and real danger for our heroes. In short, it's exactly what the series needed to give it a second wind.
I will admit, I have no idea who the ultimate Big Bad is, nor what their ultimate endgame will be, but I am invested enough to want to find out.

¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesThe car Reacher takes from Hubble's house is an Alpine Green Bentley Flying Spur.
- PifiasWhen the police car crashes into the river, it is shown immediately sinking to the bottom. Since the windows were rolled up and the interior still had air, the car would have floated until the cabin slowly filled with water.

KJ: You know, uh, you and my friend Emmitt here, you actually got something in common. Both played college football. Old Emmitt here was Georgia State's starting tight end for three years. According to your records, you played one game for Army. What happened, man? You couldn't hack it?
Jack Reacher: They kicked me off.
KJ: For what?
Jack Reacher: Being too violent.
