More of a 90s "B" movie

This is one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time! Would have been mad if I'd paid for it. Seriously bad overacting with an equally bad script. Tobin Bell was good as the Commodore. This movie does portray Wuornos as a smart and witty woman who had incredibly crappy social skills combined with a hair trigger temper, and then it digresses into a bizarre combination of soap opera and a bad noir movie.

This cannot be near the truth, but "based on", so watch it that way. When you want bubble gum for the brain or need background noise - this is the movie for you!

I wouldn't waste your time watching this. At the end of the movie I questioned why Netflix would stream this one. It is hard to have any compassion for a murderess who shot 7 men in cold blood. Peyton List does her best portraying her but it just falls short. The other actors in this are just so-so. Skip this one and watch something else,
