This show is up there, or more correctly, down there with "Wishing I Wasn't Watching the Krdashians" or "The Alleged Housewives of (fill in the blank) ".
I am more disappointed with this show, because I expected more out of it. Those other shows, I don't expect anything and so I'm not disappointed.
It looked so much like "America's Funniest Videos" that I expected to see Vin Di Bona's name in the credits. That's how completely they stoled AFV.
Most of the videos shown looked like they had been staged. I mean, why would anyone have a Christmas tree setup outside, with presents under it and people sitting around it with a camera rolling when you first turn on the lights-AND it just happens to catch fire? Poorly done fake setup!

I tend to watch a few shows at a time (aren't remotes great?) Somehow I stumbled onto this bomb. Mr. Hall looks to be in a little pain, here. Funny show? So was my root canal back in '67. I went back to the dentist multiple times before the job was complete. I learned from that. I will never go back to this bomb again! Laugh? Well, I was in tears! But it wasn't from laughter. It was from a little pity and a LOT of pain. The other show I was watching was on Animal Planet about this dude getting eaten by a laughing hyena. Now, THAT was funny! I was laughing, the hyena was laughing...you get the picture. The World's Most Funniest Moments is anything but funny. Looks like America's Funniest Video's throwaways. It almost seems that the "show" is TRYING to be annoying. I DO recommend trying to watch it for a bit just to let everyone know what rotten creators and producers there are out there. But animals tearing up people is funnier. Television has room for only one of these types of shows. Leave it to Americas Funniest Videos. Most of the ones they show are lame enough as it is. With most everybody having home computers, we need but one (if that) "Funny Video" shows.
In a genre of television, monopolized by one particular program, the 2010-2011 season of World's Funniest Moments shows lots of potential as a home-video show contender. Season 2 brings an all new flavor, replacing solo act Arsenio Hall from Season 1 with an ensemble of new talent, good writing and segment production, and just some good ol' fun and laughs!
Kind of like a cavalcade, the presentation is shared by several personalities, with main emcees Erik Estrada and Laura McKenzie. Chris and Kyle Massey (Zoey 101 and That's So Raven, respectively) refresh the hosting duties with funny stunts during the episode, including silly competitive games with the audience. Additional video challenges, where contestants can win money (like convincing random people to adopt a live swarm of bees), also make for some very hilarious moments. Too funny!
Live television + taped home videos + reality TV games = well-rounded, interactive, reality television show. I see lots of potential here with their current formula, but this valiant effort has only one exception to its goodness. World's Funniest Moments sometimes plays outdated recycled clips (like the girl falling face-first on the treadmill from 2-3 years ago). Because they sometimes define themselves as a viral video show (and viral videos are often already replayed and become stale quickly), it's one of those necessary things to showcase recent clips that have not yet met their expiration date. I am certain that if they could afford to acquire some fresh videos, this WFM upgrade could be solid gold.

Ugh.
The World's Funniest Moments is a show with a format similar to that of America's Funniest Home Videos, except that the videos aren't nearly as funny, and there are also various viral videos from the Internet. This show pales drastically in comparison to AFV. First of all, Tom Bergeron is a funny person. Although Arsenio Hall can also be funny, Bergeron actually looks like he's enjoying his job. Hall, on the other hand, looks as if he would rather be somewhere, anywhere, else. Also, the videos are much dumber than those on AFV (I'm willing to bet that the people who sent in videos to WFM were turned down by AFV).
No wonder MyNetworkTV is the second-lowest rated major network (the only major network with lower ratings is Ion Television).

I Have watched Arsenio hall for years on TV and have never seen him do any thing funny. He was OK in the movie coming to America with Eddie Murphy who carried him but that was all. why he is still on the air is beyond me.the show the worlds funniest moments is junk.so maybe we can get a petition and get him off the air before he bores us to death.i seriously think he needs acting lessons maybe then we could tolerate his presence.until then we have to watch every crappy show hes in or hosts.where did he go to acting school did he go at all?.the videos on the show the worlds funniest moments are not all that funny and i predict it will soon be canceled it in my opinion is a ripoff of AFV.well that's about it for now thanks for letting me blow some steam.
