Juega Conmigo

This movie really is the definition of cliche and cheesy. Every character is so dumb, i cant take anything seriously (although to be honest, this happens in almost every Mexican both movies and series, for a reason i would never understand), and every, and i mean, every situation in this movie is predictable. There´s no horror, just situations that gives you cringe!!!

Gabriel in a few scenes was honestly a bit decent, but he also falls down soon.

This movie was supposed to be a launch of horror genre for mexico and if this is their debut then I shudder by thought of what they have in store and not in a good way. Every thing is lame: performance, direction, writting. The main villain was such a good idea an yet they screw it with his design and wasting his potential with a predictible script. The fact the younger actors performances are the best of the entire cast is a shame! Worts thing is they wont learn of this, if it is a success in box office we will get more and more of the de movies.

Adrián García Bogliano is a great director but this time his film "Juega conmigo" was really weak. The script is not good, the film thriller scenes are good in the first minutes but then everything is cheesy. Not a cool horror film. The best was the animation at the end credits.

With a naked eye the movie is not bad in comparison to others Mexican movies that they have sold us in recent years, but is not good enough to stand out among it genre.

It has a lot of predictable and not to good jumpscares, but despite that, it has some moments of horror. There are times when it gets slow and repetitive, at the beginning I didn't like the performances but as the movie progresses they improve at a certain point.

There is a very big problem in terms of social class in this movie, the upper class is represented by people with fair complexions, blond hair and colored eyes, while the working class is represented by people with dark complexions, dark hair, brown eyes, they do not have ambitions, they do not even define their way of being of these characters, which seems to me a stereotype that we must remove from our minds, especially in Mexican society that we judge simply by the appearance of others, I know that you do not want to give a message in a horror movie but for me it is a wrong speech and completely ruins the movie.
