There have been a couple of cheerleader movies recently on Lifetime. The cheerleader isn't the wrong one here. It's a guy who isn't right in the head as he becomes her over possessive jealous boyfriend . This movie has more depth than standard Lifetime fare - quite nicely paced and the actors are convincing enough. Cristine Prosperi is the sweet cheerleader. David Meza plays the hot tempered boy quite well. It's good that they went into some background for the abuse including alcohol and a nasty father. Quite sinister the convincing nature of his apologies. The abusive relationship mirrors a grown up drama. Actually quite suspenseful.
One of the better "Wrong" movies.

This movie is so boring too much sex in these lifetime movies takes away from story the boyfriend is not handsome you can tell he is obsessed not convincing he looks sinister
Why would you have a movie where someone takes their glasses on and off over 100 times during the movie?? Heck I forgot what the movie was about....
A little embarrassed that this is my first review but I just signed up for IMDB and just watched another social distancing snoozer. Storyline 4/10. Acting 4/10. Suspense 1/10. And the thing that most stands out... The lead/crazy male looks like he's 35 years old! Couldn't they have found anyone else?!?!
I can only assume a favor was owed to actor David Meza as I have no other explanation as to why the producers would otherwise have blatantly miscast a middle aged twenty something actor to play a 17-18 year old high schooler? I understand when seasoned veterans whose careers are waning try to hang on to their long lost and forgotten youth by refusing to play grandparents rather than some stud and/or vixen, but when a mature adult is inserted as a high school student I just shrug my shoulders and accept that this film is going to bomb. No surprise then when I rate the film a 3 out of 10 IMDB rating.
¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesCristine Prosperi also played a cheerleader in Bring It On: Worldwide #Cheersmack (2017) and Asesinato por amor (2018).
- PifiasWhen Rob breaks into Becky's house it's clearly night when he enters and leaves but lighter outside when he is in the study and photographs the letter to Eliza. Also Rob's black gloves suddenly go missing with no explanation when he takes the photograph (but are present preceding and following this).
