Samaire Armstrong once again showing us that she just can't act to save her life. What a pile of hot garbage this film is.
This movie was not that bad. However, there was way too many buildup moments where you're just waiting for a crucial piece of information to be revealed... and then immediately afterwards there's another buildup moment. So instead of building up tension, it just leaves me feeling impatient.
When a child turns up 5 years later after going missing you really want to know what happened to her, where she was kept, how she was never found, how she got away, etc. But no, that is never disclosed.
The ongoing story was totally unbelievable. The parents were clueless as to how to make a child feel safe after such an ordeal and the acting was, as most have said, terrible.
Just leaves you wondering why you wasted time watching it when there is so much better out there. Bad as it was, I still wanted to know what happened in the end but given the circumstances even that was very disappointing.

This was so boring yet annoying. The girl doesn't speak for almost the entire film, she just walks around sulking with her head down like samara from the ring. The mother was annoying and the girl I didn't even care about. We discover the whole thing could have been avoided had the girl not stuck her nose into other people affairs.
The "time capsule" is two bunt cake tins. They didn't even bother to weld on some hinges. I literally made this account to whinge about this. Bloody lazy.
Some of the acting is good, some okay and some awful. Standard TV movie stuff. The directing and storyline are mediocre. Again standard TV movie stuff.

¿Sabías que...?
- PifiasEarly in the movie, Katie runs upstairs into her room and climbs into bed. Her mother follows to check on her, and leaves the bedroom door open when she leaves. When she goes back downstairs, old family friends immediately appear at their front door. Emilia, Katie's childhood friend, then goes upstairs to visit Katie. At that point the bedroom door is closed. Katie appears too traumatized to have gotten out of bed to close the door herself.
