Barbie: Fairytopia

What a great movie. Elina is one of the most relatable characters I've ever met. She is teased because she is different than the other fairies but has s friend who stand up for her. But she relizes later she has a gift to make a diffference. Overall good movie and love the message

I LOVED this film as a kid! I revisited it just a few days ago, and, in some ways, it surprisingly holds up. The characters are fine, the animation is fine, everything is fine. However, I just felt like it was missing something. I feel like it's the most perfect kids movie, But I'm probably not gonna rewatch it for... 30,40 years?

The story is ok it's the little details that I love like the "rainbow in her eye" and the sparkles of the wings and the makeup. I also really loved the colorful theming of each fairy. I paid attention through the whole thing and laughed at Bibbles antics. I am rewatching all the barbie movies (all 45!) and this is one of the best ones so far. Weirdly I feel I remember it but I can't remember watching it as a kid when it came out.

My only caveat was barbies arms were FREAKISHLY long in some scenes and it was silly looking/weird. But other than that no complaints.

Anyways it would be enjoyable for kids and adults. My rating is closer to a 6.5/10 but gave it an optimistic 7 since you can't do halves.

This is a pretty great Barbie movie. The plot is well thought of, and I found it really interesting!

I saw Fairytopia with my mom last night and it is the best in the Barbie series so far. I am in my mid-twenties but this movie brought back all the enchanting memories of my childhood. Elina the flower fairy was so cute and i loved her home in the magic meadow. I can't wait to start planting my own magic meadow this spring. I loved her friends Bibble and Hue and i couldn't help but I couldn't stand evil Laverna what's her deal. She reminds me of this girl Jessica i work with. I don't want to give away to much bu the animation is fantastic and the characters are all so beautiful and sparkle with Barbie magic. I couldn't help but go and buy an Elina doll after seeing the movie. Hope everyone loves as much as I did. Tootles..
