Monkey Business

I love this show! I always enjoy watching the antics of the variety of primates at the park, and look forward to visiting the centre one day. Its really inspirational to see how the hard work and dedication of the staff make a difference in the world. It's clear that by rescuing and re homing these animals, the staff are ensuring that those animals will have a bright and healthy future. I think that this show interests me on a number of levels because it's format enables the viewer to feel part of the centre, and to relate to the animals. I also enjoy it because it provides a fascinating insight to the animals themselves- how their society works, how they play, grow, learn and socialise. Monkey Business is not only a show for entertainment- by doing this show Jim and Alison have helped to highlight the plight of these animals, and in doing so educate a variety of people on the ways in which the animals should really live and be treated.

Monkey Business is suitable for people of all ages and interests- it is incredibly entertaining, especially while watching the chimps play together in their spacious and fun-looking enclosure! It is educational, at times saddening, yet also incredibly heartwarming.

This is the best show on television too bad only Animal Planet shows it. I donate to this wonderful cause because these our closest of cousins have been wronged and it is up to those of us who have morals to help bring them back to a peaceful existence. This show demonstrates the kindness and the humour that is involved in caring for animals. My heart goes out to Alsion, Jim and Jeremy who do a fantastic job. My advice to any one who loves animals, especially primates to watch this show. I know that I am now much better educated about the illegal pet trade and what a horrible pet primates make. Please educate yourself and watch this show. I have all of the seasons on DVD because it is just that good.
