    WWF Attitude!

WWF Attitude is one of the most exciting video games! The wrestlers, the action, the fighting, and the sure thrill of excitement makes this game a fun non-stop playing time! Below is a brief look how I think the game is!

Game Play: The game play is very good. There is really basic controls here and is easy to perform. Novice gamers should have a good time here!

Graphics: The graphics are wonderful especially for the Nintendo 64 System! The backgrounds are really beautiful!

Difficulty: The game is easy but as it goes on you find out that it will become more difficult!

Music: The music is great! Just fantastic catchy tunes through out the game! In My opinion its some of the best music ever in a video game!

Sound: The sound is great. Nuff said!

Overall: I have always loved WWF Attitude! If you like wrestling and sports games then I strongly recommend you play this game!

This game is certainly better than Warzone.

Warzone was a first attempt at a WWF game for the 5th generation of systems, and while it was a transformation of 16 bit to 64 bit (which is 3d) that much was an improvement, but the game was somewhat bad.

Now go ahead a year. this wrestling game should've been what the 5th generation should've seen first.

WWF attitude takes you into the ring and beyond with this 1-4 player wrestling game that has several modes of play. you can do "i quit" matches, "2/3 falls" matches, and even more. there's also real WWF theme music, not the cell phone ringtone stuff warzone had. There's Real blood, and even weapons, and the addition of more voices. there's also a make a pay-per-view option, and a new create a wrestler set, which is certainly worth checking out.

i haven't even begun to scratch the surface of the stuff in this game, but the newer versions are way better, like wrestlemania 2000 and no mercy. And if you own ECW Hardcore Revolution, then you're pretty much playing this game with an ECW theme.

    i give it 7/10

World Wrestling Federation Get it? Attitude

Back in 1999 there was a new game that just hit stores and that game was for fans of the World Wrestling Federation or simple WWF.

WWF Attitude is one of my personal favorite wrestling games.

The game is full of countless WWF Superstars from Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, The Rock, Triple H, X-Pac, Edge, Christian, Mankind and many more.

The game was release for the Playstation and Nintendo 64

What makes this game really cool is the fact that all the WWF Superstars did voices for the game as well as Shane McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler doing the commentary for each match you play.

There are many modes to chose from. Such as one on one matches, cage matches, triple threat matches, royal rumble, survivor series matches, first blood matches as much more.

There is also a career mode in the game that you can do as a single or a tag team.

The game play is full of countless matches as well many wrestlers to chose from to play as so there is a lot of replay value in the game.

The sound is really good with again the wrestlers voicing in the game as well as the theme songs release on the game as well as the wrestlers talk smack to each other before and during the match.

The controls can take time to get used to but the more you play the better you get and you can pause to see a combo of moves you can pull to defeat your opponent.

All together if you are a fan of retro video games or a fan of wrestling video games then you will want to give WWF Attitude a shot because it was a huge hit during the World Wrestling Federation Attitude Era and when wrestling games were getting bigger push.

I give WWF Attitude an 9 out of 10

    GREAT GAME

It has some ignorant catch phrases, yes, but it is still full of action. Customary entrances and taunts, and well as you hear them cursing each other, what else can you have in a game?

My score: 5 out of 5

    The days of yesteryear

I can garuntee you now, if you've never played this game before, you WILL be very disappointed if you do lol. Those of us around in the day waited in anticipation for this game fully expecting it to be even better than it's predecessor Warzone, but sadly the long wait and collecting magazines for months to keep up to date with this game before release was all for nothing when I look back on it. All it managed to do was improve the graphics, add more to the roster and includes whole bunch of new moves etc, but all the work went into the wrestlers, and none into the games atmosphere, meaning the backgrounds, stages, arenas, crowds are terrible. The crowed is not even animated. The current day Attitude era looked nothing like what it does in this game. This game felt like a very closed sandbox, limiting everything, and visually lackluster in any excitement. The game was supposed to have a backstage area, but never saw a release. But even if they had one, I'm not sure it would have been any good? We expected a lot of good things from ACCLAIM having seen their name on some absolute great games of the past, including the great 16 bit era games... but it's apparent now that if Midway are not in conjunction with them, then ACCLAIM aren't the great devs they appeared to be.

I was a dedicated WWF fan in these days, and WCW was the enemy, but after a sale of finding Revenge in the cheapie bin for loose change, I thought I'd buy it just to see what other people where on.about saying it was great and to find excuses why it was inferior to Attitude and Warzone, and I tried to dislike it, but ended up hooked and eventually admitted, yes, it was the better game... However I rejoiced when THQ obtained the WWF licence and where now going to make WWF games and blow Warzone and Attitude into the long forgotten area of the shelf and had we played those two games these days, we wouldn't have played them more than an hour, unlike the hours we played our bought games with no internet access in these days. I can see now my rating of 6 is based on nostalgia, but I'd probably only give it a 4 had I tried it today the first time... and no, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to play. Not unless you're just curious to know what the games like or how we where doing it in the late 90s?... apart from that, You'll probably dislike every aspect of the game, including the mortal kombat style inputs needed to perform moves... which was a major downfall compared to the THQ titles, I admit... even tho I was a street fighter and mortal kombat master and had no trouble doing the moves in this game, THQs way is much preferred, the simple flow of THQ controls compared to the Acclaim style work much beyter.... plus the compotent controls not punishing you if you spam the same moves, but then again, THQ offered more than a limited arsenal of moves compared to Attitude and Warzone anyway and didn't feel like a grind the more you played it.
