Good Girl Gone Bad.. Drama from the '70s

The movie is about an innocent Sharmila Tagore, who meets Sanjeev Kumar and they fall in love with each other.

A twist in the story happens and he gets married to another girl (Yogeeta Bali).

After a long time he meets Sharmila, who has changed and became a prostitute.

And in time of crisis, she helps him.

The movie has done fairly well at the box office and the acting of Sanjeev/ Sharmila is one of the highlights in the film.

Anyway, there seems to be some misunderstanding in the credits as Parveen Babi is not part of the cast; nevertheless, she acted in a movies called "Charitra" not Charitraheen.

This is one of the movies that seem to have never been released on Video or DVD.

The Producer went on to produce films with Hrishikesh Mukherjee like Jurmana, Bemisal & Jhooti. The producer was to also produce the third film with Amitabh Bachchan with Hrishikesh Mukherjee, the film was Auqaat with Jaya Prada and Anita Raaj as leading ladies. But Auqaat was shelved due to Amitabh Bachchan's Coolie incident.
