One of the more classy and elegant telenovela ... not the crazy over the top usual stuff...a mature passionate love story and César Évora is so damn underrated with his charm and good looks and talent.. its a shame they never allowed him to really shine except here

This is a wonderful example of the Mexican telenoveal. It is the story of singer Maria and her daughter - kind of along the lines of Mildred Pierce only different. Daniela Romo is beautiful and is one of the best singers to come out of Mexico in the past 20 years. It is a real treat to watch if you can catch it on Television. Hopefully oneday Televisa will see fit to release some of their classic Telenovelas on video tapes.
